    Great video! The kind of Tornado Sirens I heard in this video are: ACA Allertor, 4/5 Port Thunderbolt 1000T, two 2001s, and possibly a Thunderbolt 1000.

    okay. because you can hear the St.Anthony Siren real good along with the one at 27th and Johnson in NE Minneapolis and the siren from either Columbia Heights or the one by where the old fire station was in St. Anthony. I grew up in Columbia Heights and I could hear these surrounding communities sirens.

    Sounds like an Allertor Siren. I also hear some Thunderbolts and some 2001s off in the background

    I live in a trailer park, in northwestern Ramsey County and we had to wait like 30 minutes to get into the tornado shelter because the park manager had the key and he was at a party.....

    Was that a rotating Allertor that I heard? If it was it was pretty awesome! I had one near my home, in Cuba, Missouri, and it sounded exactly like that.

    Is this in Saint Anthony? I was at the Church/School off 40th and Jackson in Columbia Heights for their fun fest. when the sirens went off, we had to go into the school. My relatives were in town from Ca and WI for my Grandpa's 90th B Day the next day.

      Tyler Copeland This isn't in Minneapolis. They use Whelens, and so does Apple Valley. St Paul uses 2001-130's and so does Bloomington. Minnesotan Cities love Federal Signal, as the last time a Minnesotan City used ASC was like 2005

    • @mnsirens
      @mnsirens Před 7 lety

      Tyler Copeland Though at the time this was made, Minneapolis and St Paul still had they're Thunderbolts. Minneapolis' Thunderbolt 1000T's can clearly be heard after the Allertor cuts out

    • @neosho53059
      @neosho53059 Před 7 lety

      I heard that they don't use asc because it's made in Wisconsin and Minnesota and wi are rivals...

    • @mnsirens
      @mnsirens Před 7 lety

      Tyler Copeland MN and WI go Head to Head all the time. And Federal gives Minnesotan Cities Discounts to Install they're latest Sirens as an Example of they're products to Wisconsin, as ASC gives Discounts to Cities in Wisconsin, mostly because of Shipping Costs. Wisconsin is Surrounded by States in which Federal is the Dominant Force, which are Minnesota, Illinois, and Michigan. Illinois gets Discounts for the same reason, and Weat Shore Services is in Michigan, so they get Locational Discounts
