- Competitors first attempted to move the Rogue Bale Tote 10 feet with a load of tires at a weight of 1227 lb. They then moved to the heavier weight, using bales of cotton, at 1410 lb . Zydrunas Savickas won the event by carrying the 1410 lb yoke 10 feet in 3.87 seconds
Whenever I see Mike Burke compete in past strongman competitions I always wish he was still in the game. I liked watching him perform.

This is of course an impressive feat but I wonder why the distance is so short and the weight so heavy...surely a longer course and slightly lighter weight would be just as tough? Or is it perhaps that they're not trying to be WSM and cut down on the cardio side of things, just focus more on brute strength. Just wondering.
