Lalas told in an interview with Lukas Smagurauskas, that because he was the shortest guy winning and won against american Shaw, Schwarzenegger just congratulated him off the stage and not on the stage.

@@dalewilson9602 according to Lalas, Arnold wanted Shaw to win and it was embarassing that a guy 8 inches shorter won the title. Not my words, that's what Lalas said.
Since when does it make a strongman?
I mean Mike Tyson was the shortest heavy weight and wud anyone deny he was potent, besides 5.10 is above averge height for men

я бы не смог даже 1 раз поднять ни эту штангу 175 кг, ни гантель одной рукой 120 кг, ни штангу с шинами 400+ кг, ни мяч этот 205+, чусствую себя таким слабаком после этого

The only thing Mark Felix is good at is deadlift... he should not be invited to this show anymore.. he is not a good allround strongman.. he just cant just be good at deadlift..
+Tom Andersson You are not been fair here. Mark Felix has done pretty well. How do you expect a mere 295 pound, ageing 46 year old man compete with younger, stronger and heavier men? Consider Thor who weighs a whopping 430 pounds and is nearly twice the age of Mark Felix.
***** Sorry I meant to say Thor is nearly half the age of Mark Felix. Thor was 24 during this competition and Mark Felix was 46
He finished 6th though, so in fact he outperformed 4 guys in this comp. He won the deadlift in this comp and performed well in most of the other events too, especially the stones.
So none of the competitors who ranked below Mark, including Thor, should be invited back either? Yeah, whatever man.
dude all the people at this event are insanely strong.. the weights they lift are unprecedented in recorded human history
