    He is a new Nonu! That is how he is being groomed. Many didn't like Nonu when he started. But he, like Clark draws the opposition, makes the gain line, presents the ball well. He catches the high ball and his kicking, like Nonu's will develop. I see him moving to center eventually. Great young talent.

      That’s a insult to Nonu

      Nah Nonu had the raw agresiveness of an Bull on Coke and the will of a lion.
      Maybe one day when he is older there could be a possibility as his skills and strength improves.

      Iv always thought he would make a good mid fielder similar to Nonu a ball crasher/meter maker type centre , plus he’s probably faster then any centre in Nz other then rieko

      I agree with some of this. Nonu, however, was always a prolific defender and rarely missed tackles. That in and of itself kept him in the team. Clarke has a tendency to slip off tackles and be in the wrong position defensively quite often .

      @@unclejezza the game has changed. Tackling has changed. Heck, the player's physique has changed. Caleb got shed by one opponent and a try was scored. It happens, it is not his majority and his tackling numbers are high. You touch him as he runs in the upper body and he blasts through you. He will get better and develop more skills he is still young.

    I was spectacle when foster went with Clarke over McKenzie for the 23 when he named the “A team” All Blacks last month , but with the All Blacks already having 3 great play makers that can play anywhere in the back line , mounga , Jordie and beauden , it is a great idea to have Clarke coming on fresh to cause damaging runs late in the game when the opposing teams are feeling fatigued, great player explosive runner

    damaging runner, explosive speed and power.... hasn't been on form for a while now but can be an asset against tiring defenses in yhe RWC.....needs to work more on his defence, kicks, and eunning lines when in need of support players

    Jonah Lomu the 2nd 🔥🔥💪💪.

  • @randyebrandy
    @randyebrandy Před 10 měsíci +5

    he's got good running burst but he has too many handling errors, don't know hot to stall the ball until the support arrives. Good individual player but hella of a poor addition to the all blacks team. Just not in the same caliber. boy mainly needs to learn to catch the ball under pressure and hold for stall for support.

      @@nenoz4764 I have seen one too many times loosing the ball because of him. I'm not saying he's not strong enough or anything like that. He just have to brush up on some areas in his game. He's definitely bound to be a star player. I just wanna see my team win. 😁

    watch his eyes when he's on those solo runs - total focus on the try line, almost zero situational awareness of his teammates or intent to feed an unmarked player into the clear - it's all just run until he gets tackled - great when it comes off but I feel he is one dimensional

  • @moyisisinelungelotunzi

  • @keza41
    @keza41 Před 10 měsíci +3

    Yeah, if he could score tries he’d be awesome, unfortunately he has the worst try scoring record of any All Black winger in recent memory. I’ll be surprised if he is an AB jersey next year, far better players out there than this bloke.
