Didn't Barty Crouch Jr. change his voice to Mad Eye Moody's? I always thought that was an inconsistency in the movies that could be explained by Hermione brewing a flawed batch.

Kind of took it more as a 'Now what' moment... they really nailed Blacks character, from students muttering how bad he is in the corridors to placing a gigantic christmas tree right in front of his face in the Great Hall so the students don't need to look at him.
Professor Fig: "Hurry up the potion effect won't last for very long" MC: still finds time to mess with Omnis because what else you as a 15 year old would do if you saw a friend in this absurd situation
when i played through i finished talking to scrope before i noticed that you can interact with the podium. very much a 15 year old, and slytherin, thing to do to take what little time you have before you change back to waste it by making sure to brag about your house lol.
One of the things I love most about this sequence is it's a fantastic example of the main character being so very likeable and funny. I suppose I didn't quite expect the main character to be such a "real" character, but I feel the devs/writers really nailed a balance/combination of making them a good character while somehow also being very "personal" to a given player.

They'll differ in various ways for each of us of course, but honestly my main character ranks quite highly among my favourite Harry Potter series characters.
Played the game as Ravenclaw, before the potion's effect wore off I put all of the great hall banners into Ravenclaw's. I bet the same thing happened with other houses.

When I did this quest, while talking to Professor Weasly, the armours started fighting each other and it was the most hilarious thing I’ve seen in the game
I just got to that point in one of my replays today, it was indeed hilarious. There was just several loud bangs while talking to her and I was like “What the hell was that?”
There's extra dialogue with Garreth if you've done a short quest for him, you have the option to say essentially "I know you've been up to no good, I have my eye on you"
If you complete the honeydukes side quest for Gareth, you will egg on him about it in this quest telling him that billywig stings were missing from the honeydukes cellar which are a prime potioning ingredient. He denies any involvement in it of course.

I absolutely love how our character totally sets professor black up for the entire school to know about his boils 😂. And the escaped laughter at learning about them 💀
This part of the game was hilarious- I just wish there were more consequences. I thought for sure that professor Weasley would see through us. We can’t be the first one to try Polyjuice potion of a professor 😂
You'd be surprised. Polyjuice Potion isn't as common as it's made out to be. The only book in Hogwarts that teaches it is _Moste Potente Potions_ (or something along those lines), and it's in the Restricted Section. Not to mention, the potion takes a month (at best) to brew. Most students would likely lose interest and abandon the brew altogether.

Finished this quest not long ago and it was so freaking fun to be professor Black. I can only imagine what Phineas said when the boil potion got delivered. If it were really me, I would have "revealed" many things while running through the halls. Student: Did you hear? Other student: What? Student: Professor Black ran by an hour ago. Telling everyone he likes to break into professor Weasley's quarters and try on her clothing!
Ominis was done so dirty. He's such a nice and smart kid and he's got the worst upbringing and his friends barely treat him any better. I hope that after graduating he found someone that actually deserved him.

I hope every student at Hogwarts appreciates how awesome Kogawa Sensei is. A literal professional Quiddich player of one of the top teams (at least according to her) turned P.E. teacher who just wants her students to have some fun sporting competition. The students don't know how lucky they are.
Her story about herself and her friend Asuka was wonderful too, especially how she handled their situation. One's fate in one's own hands and all that.
According to history as soon as the Japanese were taught quidditch they took to it like a thunderbird to stormy skies. I believe they won the first world cup they competed in.
This was such a blast of a sequence. Simon Pegg is a legend. I especially love the easter egg in the Great Hall where you can boast about your house, laughed so hard when I found that.

I don't know which part was funnier, the part where he laughs at finding out about the boils, the part where as a slytherin he comments to students things like 'purebloods forever' or something to that affect, or where he's like 'where's my blasted house elf?!' Or the final part where he changes the banners comments about the house and then says, 'I'll be taking no more questions at this time. Or ever' as you can imagine, I couldn't pick a favourite 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Hearing my character laugh hysterically learning about the boils as Professor Black and having him say it louder to make sure others hear about it is to me the funniest moment in the whole game, it felt like a South Park moment out of nowhere.
Gotta give credit to the voice actor who plays Professor Black. He had to voice a Hogwarts student pretending to be Professor Black. Kinda like how Helena Bonham Carter had to portray Hermione pretending to be Bellatrix.
I think I might have actually rolled my eyes when the polyjuice potion was brought out of the HP plot device cupboard again... but then, the most hilarious segment of the game unfolded and I was left wanting more :-D Decorate the Great Hall in Ravenclaw colors only! lol (Even though a Ravenclaw in their right mind would never leave such an obvious clue).
The Kogawa scene gave me a glimmer of hope that the devs will implement actual quidditch eventually. Goading her into writing a strongly worded letter to the ministry to bring it back. But, this is the ministry of magic we're talking about.
The only out-of-character and sincerest thing we did all throughout this quest was give Scrope his former mistress' diary. You can hear the tone of voice change as we refer to Apollonia's journal as Scrope's treasure.
I don't know why they all wonder about Black's behaviour when we talk to them. Black is exactly like this. He's full of himself, talks out of his ass but has just enough self-awareness to grasp how awkward the situation is when he notices how nobody's buying into it. Though I guess he wouldn't talk to Ominis like that, considering the family tree. Or maybe he would... I'm not sure how drunk on power the guy really is.
The dialogue changes with the student interaction depending on when you talk to them or help them with sidequest, like with mr. Weasley I got to mention that he was trying to steal some items from the joke shop
Did you also try doing a dodge roll while disguised as him? I think the actor does a fantastic job at portraying a character pretending to be another character
It makes sense why this mission was absolutely hilarious! They had to get as much mileage out of Simon Pegg voicing the character! I couldn't stop laughing all the way through this mission; I about died when he announced the re-decoration of Slytherin house!!
I wish the Boils part and the Parchment part moved forward. Professor Black in trouble with Student delivering the Potion regarding Boils and Madam Kagowa writing to the Ministry and all of it Boiling on his head at the End.
If only I could replay this part over and over. I freaking loved it when I shoved the students and teachers around. the boils had me cackling when I first played.
I really hope the student that delivers the cure scares the hell out of Black, like what the fuck?!?! Actually, come to think of it, I hope it's Gareth and he brings his concoction and Black drinks it thinking it was his cure for boils.
There is a secret hilarious cutscene when you keep a certain diary from someone. If you know you know. Don’t wanna spoil it for anyone but this video missed it and it’s very unfortunate!!!
MC making a great Black not just because of the dialog in itself, but because of the consequences. Imagine the real Black's reaction to Garreth giving him for a try his newest brew, the reaction for both, Black and the student when the latest delivers him the cure for boils. Also, props for naming that video secgion as "Talking to *BROOM* "
Still a lot of missed opportunities for doing this quest. We should of had dialogue for visiting all the professors and the ability to get into the other common rooms because Headmaster privileges. Also, I think we definitely needed a quest to brew it. It was way too convenient for Fig to just have it as well as Black’s hair at the ready. Still enjoyed this quest!

The funniest bit was when he let slip a loud laugh during the boils scene. It actually feels like a student impersonating Black

The exchange with Kogawa seems like the closest to being the real professor black we'll ever get.

Gotta give credit to the voice actor who plays Professor Black. He had to voice a Hogwarts student pretending to be Professor Black. Kinda like how Helena Bonham Carter had to portray Hermione pretending to be Bellatrix.

I think I might have actually rolled my eyes when the polyjuice potion was brought out of the HP plot device cupboard again...
but then, the most hilarious segment of the game unfolded and I was left wanting more :-D

This mission was the most fun I've had in the whole game lol, I was laughing the entire time

The Kogawa scene gave me a glimmer of hope that the devs will implement actual quidditch eventually. Goading her into writing a strongly worded letter to the ministry to bring it back. But, this is the ministry of magic we're talking about.
At least they kept one detail from the book…the drinker using the form’s voice.

The only out-of-character and sincerest thing we did all throughout this quest was give Scrope his former mistress' diary. You can hear the tone of voice change as we refer to Apollonia's journal as Scrope's treasure.
I don't know why they all wonder about Black's behaviour when we talk to them. Black is exactly like this.
He's full of himself, talks out of his ass but has just enough self-awareness to grasp how awkward the situation is when he notices how nobody's buying into it.
Though I guess he wouldn't talk to Ominis like that, considering the family tree. Or maybe he would... I'm not sure how drunk on power the guy really is.
I love the laugh about the boils and the Slytherin thing and the dialogue with Ominus wish we had more time to mess around!
The dialogue changes with the student interaction depending on when you talk to them or help them with sidequest, like with mr. Weasley I got to mention that he was trying to steal some items from the joke shop

It makes sense why this mission was absolutely hilarious! They had to get as much mileage out of Simon Pegg voicing the character! I couldn't stop laughing all the way through this mission; I about died when he announced the re-decoration of Slytherin house!!
It would be funny if we could tell Ominis it's us and see him try to scold us but then do it quietly so others don't hear

MC making a great Black not just because of the dialog in itself, but because of the consequences. Imagine the real Black's reaction to Garreth giving him for a try his newest brew, the reaction for both, Black and the student when the latest delivers him the cure for boils.

This was pretty much the most hilarious quest mission you ever done. I wish there was more of this.

Still a lot of missed opportunities for doing this quest. We should of had dialogue for visiting all the professors and the ability to get into the other common rooms because Headmaster privileges.
Also, I think we definitely needed a quest to brew it. It was way too convenient for Fig to just have it as well as Black’s hair at the ready.
