Just casually running through Mohgwyn Palace with over 110K runes was making me flip out.
Honestly, once you know the route through the area, it's pretty easy to get all the way through there without getting hit more than once or twice. And I say that as someone who is traditionally really bad at games like this. Their whole design philosophy really relies a lot on you getting lost or just wanting to explore the area, but if you take a straight shot through say, the ruin-strewn precipice, you can get through the whole thing in less than 10 minutes if you just run.
Don’t think you softlocked yourself out of Ranni. The Radahn festival was still on-going, and she despawns during it.
Even then all you have to do is light the forge and witness Fia killing D

@@hypothermialittleboi100 nah you can't actually kill it until you finish ranni's quest line. And @alenbh4g is right since she does despawn during the festival since blaiid is required and won't move till it's done

I'm completely flabbergasted at how good Bushy knows where all of the important stuff in the entire game is
after spending hundreds of hours with 15 wiki tabs open I imagine some of it starts to glue into your brain
i remembered soo many things on my second playthrough, somehow it's easier to remember this game than any games with quest marker, maybe it's instinct

Probably mainly due to a combination of memorable locations and the intent to search for them
You should do a Law of Causality only run. I tried it and only got past morgot before giving up, it’s pretty brutal. Blocked hits count for the explosion but it’s still absurdly difficult if not outright impossible
It’s impossible, which is a shame because it would be nuts to see someone try to take it all the way but they just HAD to make the final boss heal off holy.
Elden Beast doesn’t heal off holy, just look up holy only runs
@@trevordillon1921 The Elden Ring wiki claims another victim. EB just highly resists Holy but does not heal off it
It's like 80 percent resist lol which is genuinely painful for holy only lol 😂

Probably because the ability to not get hit much in those two minutes is more impressive than the fact he won. Since he got basically every smithing stone in the first few minutes his weapons were way over-levelled for every boss boss Ive seen and im only thirty minutes in. Probably why he never levelled to keep it exciting.
I have to admit I’m a little sad he didn’t grab the Gravel Stone Seal directly after getting Ancient Dragon’s Lightning Strike. Probably one of my favorite builds in the game

For anyone wondering why Ancient Dragon Lightning sucked so much on some of the casts, it’s because a bunch of the bolts were hitting the ground on the other side of Placi. You don’t want to be standing right up against him when casting since the last few bolts won’t hit if you are.

Is this your first bushy video? Lmao he never levels its part of the challenge. Its not exactly a challenge if you level up like crazy and become so OP you can't die. Yeah he does OP damage but that's countered by the fact that he can't make more than a mistake or 2 without dying

If you need proof just go use the dragon rune farm in caelid and level up to an absurdly high level and then play and see how much you die, unless you're the worst player in the game you won't die very often if at all

20:35 fun fact, you can kill 2nd phase rykard while taking 0 damage. You gatta get to the point in his phase 2 fight where hes trying to summon those skulls that chase you, he should look at you and raise his sword. As long as you keep spamming L2 while he’s doing that, it’ll reset the animation and he’ll be stuck trying to summon the skulls
Kinda freaky to me how AC’s first giant boss, the strider, is so big it’s almost half as long as much of this map, puts into perspective that it’s big, but not VERY big

Honestly, I was super bored of it until I started setting goals for myself; I was totally reinvigorated when the goal was to use all heavy thrusting swords and that I can’t end the game until I’ve collected them. Now im on maliketh and struggling for the first time since my first playthrough because I have no idea how to do this without OP spells and ashes of war. It’s quite nice

@@avriel6903to keep the game interesting, I recently started a challenge of my own where I get the Physick and Dectus half from Fort Haight, then talk to Melina to have the ability to level up. After that basic setup, I head to Caelid, at which point I cannot leave. I can't leave Caelid except to upgrade weapons at Roundtable (but there aren't many smithing stones 1s), and the goal of the challenge is to beat every boss in Caelid, starting from level 1 Wretch. The "final boss" is Radahn, so the only time I can leave Caelid completely is to go to Altus to start the Radahn Festival. I cannot get any items and gear outside of Caelid, including Roundtable items. So far I've been using Meteoric Ore Blade, Meteorite Staff, and Rock Sling, and I've beaten Magma Wyrm and both Putrid Tree Spirits.
Coming up with custom challenges is a lot of fun.
