Living in New Zealand I’ve come across this a few times on websites and thought it was lovely, especially cultural websites like art gallery’s or museums. I had no idea it was so widespread, and that people were listening to it with every speaker up to 13 times a day. It’s a bit much really, it’s like our local graduation ceremony when people get up and do a haka for every Māori student graduating, it gets a bit much, one would probably suffice. Finding balance is always the key with these sorts of things, and we often have to go to extremes to realise what balance looks like.
