The only thing I have concerns with, as much as I love him, Patty is not the 2019 in-form MVP player he used to be. He cannot be starting, I'd like to see him as an energy guy 6th man off the bench than a solid starter with big minutes every game.
McVeigh and Magnay were great.
Would love to see both McVeigh and Magnay get a run in the NBA.

McVeigh did sign 2-way contract with Houston Rockets.
Defence overall though and hunger was AMAZING
and Bogut, that's the exact reason why Jingles should have been left off this roster. He's been great for Australia!! But it was time to move on and add that athletic youth.
Need an athletic defensive 3. Like maybe thybull.

Squad selection makes sense. Pleasantly surprised at both the minutes and quality of magnays work. Delly was an absolute terrier off the bench. Mills shooting an issue

They play different spots in the lineup and defend different positions. Kay has been solid, he's the glue guy the side needs

Will Magnay was a CONE on defence. Got humiliated by Ant on a crossover, got blown by & posterised by Tatum, got dunked on then stepped over by AD, gave up defensive rebounds to the US again and again

Think they want to run magnay defensively just because of his size. Sure he'll play more against different teams.
Goorjian didn't play Duop enough in the World Cup for mine and looks like being under utilised again. Dude can seriously shoot, great size and decent shot blocker.
@craigirvine864 he can't rebound or defend, and couldnt close onto the perimeter quick enough at the world cup. Now Landale is back he could play a 4 but he needs to be stronger around the paint in FIBA

If anyone watched the game - Magnay and Kay were absolute cones on defence. They're just not cut for the Australian Team. Bring back Matisse
@jumbokevin Matisse is 6 ft 5 and would offer nothing in the key, which is where the bulk of the work is done by kay and magnay. Both did a great job keeping jokic out the key against Serbia, and kay was able to switch out to the perimeter to close out the 3 balls. Trying to compare thybulle with those two who play completely different roles to thybulle who plays higher and closer to the point of attack shows you don't know what you are talking about Kev
