- Gray Zone Warfare launched into an Early Access preview session yesterday and frankly, I was so tempted to drop everything I had on my busy IRL schedule yesterday to just play more and more. We've touched on it a few times here since it's announce late last year and I know that it's hit or miss for some people, but right up front, I'm genuinely impressed with the game at a preview stage of early access and I think this has all the potential and tools to become THE next big tactical shooter and today we're going to talk about why that is... For all the criticism IW gets for different reasons one thing they absolutely get right is animations and how the characters hold their weapons or their general stance and transition between animations, I hope gray zone warfare tries a similar thing when it comes to the quality of animations or try to go the ground branch route where it’s a true first person and you have different stances you can have your weapon in (high ready of low ready)

If our experience in Tarkov is anything to go by we’ll be here a while for sure in terms of drip feeding content

It’s incredible that all a shooter needs is no SBMM and it would already be better than cod. Cod matchmaking makes people uninterested in playing, it’s exhausting

I heard somewhere they want to eventually release on console so who knows might be the first game that does it right. I can imagine motion control with the ps5 controller could be decent for the inventory once you get used to it
A tactical shooter that lets an entire squad walk through a contested open field picking off bots with carbines that are standing still. It looks like Tarkov-lite with a jungle mod.
Bots standing still? Dude you have no clue what you´re talking about!This game has the most accurate AI I´ve ever experienced,every players are asking them to nerff the Ai!!!They will run after you no matter what,also they have Aim bot aim,literally!!!Besides of that,theres also the PVPE mode!!!

1:45 he’s not behind any cover and bots are just strafing back and forth doing nothing. A real 2 v 1 tactical shooter should have punished him for that at the range he was and he took zero damage. 🤣
6:22 bots seem unaware at gunfire meters away and one by one show up while he stands behind a half wall in the open

The recoil is about as realistic as Battlefield.

Will this game ever come to PS5 ?.
I don’t like how there is no difference in picking a Faction. Everything is the same. Plus everyone looks the same so PvP is a headache. Lots of wide open spaces, and the loot pool has become just bringing attachments from guns you collect back to base to sell. Loot needs to be buffed or reworked, make it feel I really want to explore, or infiltrate a higher danger zone.
Not sure but I’m not seeing the hype yet. It all comes down to how dedicated are the developers. If certain issues are not fixed than EA for the public is going to be ruff.
In real life,everybody also looks the same! ;) Sometimes you cant even know the difference between a civilian and one Tango!!!
