I noticed you were shooting a helmet when they werent dying but once you lowered your site to their face, boom, one shot done.

Love the AI taking shots to the head and not even attempting to get into cover. Looks good though.
It's a current bug going on, it's not supposed to be like this
Games not even in beta yet and it's already playable, I'd say they're doing better than 90% of the AAA gaming studios are and this is their first pc game

The whole point of a beta is to find bugs. Alot of games stay in early access their whole time out to save money. These 3rd party shooters and racing Sims being the biggest offenders of this.
It also gives a reason for players to say stuff like calm down this isn't even beta or the full release yet and keeps customers happy.
I'm fine with early access games but don't expect ground breaking changes from this point on.
Early access is a beta and a betas main purpose is to sort out bugs like this.
The AI needs a lot of work. Improve the AI, improve the loot it’s nearly there.
@@they_call_me_don9899that's a normal thing for mobile shooting games to be playable as earlyas early access and even pre-ALPHA.
Those NPC should have to arrive on transport rather than just spawning in behind players.

Immersion, it felt fake
I cleared a courtyard with some dudes and started looting...looked up and three AI literally just dropped out of the air right in front of me and proceeded to kill my character lol. I still love this game though
love the format of this video. I find streams of this game a bit long, but this video was a nice breakdown of what's special about this game

Even though the NPC are still quite jank. I'm surprised how well the game plays at this very early stage.
This run with you and Lachy was CRAZY. The part where you both and the random teammate were back by the golf clubhouse was so intense, really really fun to watch!

Watching stodeh and westie is always excellent, this is no exception. Stodehs comms and strategy are a pleasure to watch.
One mechanic thing which is much better than tarkov, is despite having to reload magazines in the loadout screen, it doesn’t take a second for each round

Id love to see some weapon retention options on the mouse wheel like Ground Branch. Maybe add some bipods or the ability to brace on objects. Your characters arms get tired real fast

The healing system is so immersive

Scope swing while prone should be reduced by a lot, especially if you have the weapon on a barricade or bipod.
I really like the gun play in the game. One of the few games that get optic fov & viewmodels right too.
Stodeh I wonder if there’s a piggyback Red dot sight you can mount to your scope for close in work. Cqb is going to be super hard with a VUDU or even a canted red dot optic

I know the area cause I searched for the 'building west' of the Hotel in that area.
Found Mosin-sniper rifles, so much loot I couldn't carry it all but was eventually shot, was only lvl 6. On the way to my dead body I crashed to desktop and lost it all though but it made clear the Marketplace guys were the very easy ones, this game is going to be top once the network errors are solved.
Game in alpha, time to hear Westie complain no stop about everything while repeatedly dying. At least the rest of the group seems to actually enjoy playing games.

I bought it to support the developers because I absolutely love the concept but I will be definitely waiting for a few patches before I try it for the first time.

Was lucky enough to watch this live yesterday. Once they get things ironed out a bit, this game will take over streams.
I've been working in the devs studio for over two years now and I've never seen anyone snipe like that. Props!

Insta-kill in a single shot is more real though. You have to be extra cautious. The problem is that they instantly aim at you and fire and they are too accurate. But the insta-kill should stay as a sometimes thing, particularly since it doesn't end your game.

They should've done this concept with wildlands/breakpoint. Its got potential if the AI and other bugs are ironed out

Kinda wish the devs gave out early access keys to regular folk as well. Seems only streamers are getting to enjoy the game. I know its still a ways out but still. I wanna hop in and play as well
In Arma, the NPC starts shooting as soon as he sees you. NPCs who hear the gunshot in Tarkov react and say they made a super tactical game like GZ, which is a huge disappointment in 2024. If you can't handle artificial intelligence, don't add PVE to the game.
So let’s only let the people who are gonna play 10-12 hours a day and make all the casuals come get shit on later

This game has way more potential than DMZ… and it’s only in alpha stage… once they fix all the bugs, add new maps it’s a step in the right direction… dmz is not the end all be all so it’s cool to see some new content

This game is fun. but it needs a ton of work. Its more Rewarding and fun fighting players than AI,the AI is just straight stupid as hell but as soon as they spot you they turn in T800 terminators. i dont mind the gunplay and such.

Love the conept of this game very dmz like but more realistice if on COD would be more tactical and realastice no more zombies or ultra skins bring this to COD asap
I hope they work on the AI because it looks like their way of making them "more difficult" is to make them bullet sponges, which I hope is the route they absolutely do not do. If you played or know of the pre-Alpha gameplay they did roughly a month ago, people were saying the AI was way too easy. Granted they were not going to where you are now on the map which appears to be likely an end game type of zone.
It's a current bug going on, it's not supposed to be like this that they are this spongy and janky
@@twistedrival831 if they can fix that, it's def a game I'll keep my eyes on. I'm pretty sure I've seen in interviews that the devs said if enemies have armor (specifically helmets) you will either have to shoot them more to break the armor or shoot where the armor doesn't cover. Example if they have a helmet you have to hit the face, like the helmet will actually prevent a 1 shot if you hit the actual helmet instead, I'm completely fine with that. It's rewarding better placed shots on the better geared/more difficult enemies.
@@RoadSparrowand even to note that this game is still very early early access and doing very well for a game in that state. It's all such a cool concept that the devs use literal ballistics for the bullets. Like they use ballistic gel to test the expansion upon entry and the damage it does. It's not like HP damage where you die to, its literal organ damage and total organ failure which will lead to your death. With the risk that the bullets will ricochet from off your spine and deal more damage or from walls and deal less damage is mind blowing to me for a game like this.
I was waiting for a youtube-video from stod on this game, because on stream it was really boring to watch.
and well, unfortunately this also missed the mark for me. half the time I have no idea what's actually happening, who is speaking, no minimap, no pings, no orientation. I get it, it's for immersion an what not, but as a CoD guy, this just isn't it for me.

GZ is in alpha, but it already went Tarkov route, and released P2W packs with gear, more storage space, safe puches etc.
