Painting Hot Wheels - Nova Gasser - Gulf Edition. Here at Diecast Resurrection we specialize in painting diecast model cars. In today's video I took one of my favorite Hot Wheels castings and did a classic Gulf Paintjob on it. I think it turned out great!

My father owned and operated a Gulf Station from 1961 until the mid 80's. I have a picture of the gulf sign in a photo album, but it was from the late 60's and was in black and white, so it wouldn't help you out much...lol. Always enjoy your videos and resurrections...
I’d love to see some old time decals and paint.. I always loved the old Budweiser cars and especially the Miss Bud hydroplane, the red and the gold.. beautiful color scheme..

I’ve always loved the Gulf look! And this one is no exception! One thing (and it’s completely me…) but it is pronounced ‘livery’ with a short/soft I sound, not the hard I. Think “I just want to live, man!”, not “the show will go live in 30 seconds….”
Keep those cars coming, but, could we see some more restorations?

Using the old Mark 1 eyeball to find center. Don't need no stinkin ruler. Remember - What happens in the spray booth - stays in the spray booth.
I just bought a ultra quiet 1 gallon compressor from harbor freight for my air brush setup. I got tired of the loud annoying compressor I had been using!
