Hot Wheels 4x4 Corvette Revival. Hello, today I needed a win, so I decided to remake an older design that was painted on 70's model. The result is pretty cool, I think it look great. Let me know what you guys think in the comments.

I just thought of something seeing that Vette. Could you do a "Corvette summer" Corvette? It would be involved because it has loads of body modifications. It's a cult classic movie from the 70's staring Mark Hamill.

Totally amazing! The funny thing is that each layer of paint looked good enough to be the final colour. The silver reminded me of the car one of my high school teachers drove. The red made my mouth water. The yellow was pretty cool but when you took those masking off? I think the people at Hot Wheels probably fainted.
Atleast the Porsche looks much better now! you did a good job cleaning it up and trying to restore it and I'm sure you'll get the paint & decals right when you finish it.
That final clear coat often really brings it together
You should make a Corvette Summer car! With your 3d printing ability you should be able to create the custom parts. You definitely have the candy sparkle technique down!!!
Big wide black fenders on that would really complete the look, nice car as always.

Old school cool. It takes a Pro to step back, evaluate and hit a slam. That's what cars are supposed to look like. Nailed it. The yellow reminds me of the WWII trainers.
Very cool School Bus Yellow, and Candy Apple Red, I like it. Probably because I drove a School Bus for years.

Another great one! I'm not a NASCAR fan but I always loved the paint jobs on those 90's stock cars. I think TIDE Laundry detergent was one of my favorites or even MAXWELL HOUSE coffee. There were a bunch of cool ones.

when i was a kid and my dad was teaching me to paint, he said if you want to see how good a paint job is, don't look at the paint, look at the reflection in the paint. so ya, your paint work is good enough that the post hump on the hood would have been real noticeable.
With the "keep your stick on the ice" and "if women don't find you handsome they should at least find you handy" from Red Green, do the opposum van.
Dude you should build the custom corvette from the movie Corvette Summer. It was a candy red with heavy metallic paint. It was totally pimped.

If you take the masking off while it's still wet youll get crisper lines and youll mitigate risk of peeling paint off with the vinyl.

I just got a Hot Wheels Monster Truck 2 pack. EPIC! It has a Bigfoot, my first EVER Bigfoot I saw the wild. It also had a Red Corvette.😳 I initially wanted the Bigfoot truck, BUT I got home and realized it was the same exact one they released last year or in 2019? Finding any decent new die-cast here is a joke. Matchbox has been empty for MONTHS.
Sorry not to go off point. I really love these 4x4's they made. Some people called the Donks? I've seen and heard that. 👀 Whatever they are called they are really unique and cool castings. Especially if they can have suspension! THAT WOULD BE EPIC! I haven't been able to find too many of these. I got a 🎃Halloween🎃 Olds 442 4x4, and another 442 4x4 this one with big regular tires, not the nobby kind the 🎃Halloween🎃 442 had. I've also been lucky and have found a couple Matchbox ones as well. First was a late 60's Mustang 4x4 and the second is a VW Bug 4x4. That one is my favorite! I had gotten some Greenlight Mudders tires & axles. 2 sets of the smaller Mudders & another set of the Bigger mudders. Sadly I'm not good at axle and suspension building yet. I was hoping to add the smaller mudders to the 442. Then I tried one of the Chevy Silverado 4x4's. The tires rubbed on the fenders. I didn't quit. I regrouped....lol! I need to get a Dremel AND do some more studying and research.
THIS Vette however is amazing right out of the gate! This is a really great casting!
One thing I'd LOVE to do....Greenlight has a U.S.Mail truck/jeep? It comes with the Mail truck and a U.S.Mailbox. If I had any idea how to, I'd love to male one of those a 4x4 like the Vette. A Mail Monster Truck! How cool would that be?

Has anyone ever come across a series of cars that had adjustable rear ends?. They had a plastic friction pivot under the rear that would emulate air shocks.
