Yeah... some of the bike lanes definitely looked a little sketchy on that ride! On the flip side, the scenery looked awesome! I'm a huge fan of exotic cars, so I have all those super cars zipping by would have been a huge plus for me!
I'm always amazed at the cyclists I see on San Gabriel river road almost getting nailed by speeders. Your right it's never the fixed up cars or exotics that are a problem it's the family wagon and sight see'rs that end up hitting someone or going over the side from not paying attention. I know Ortega Hwy has claimed it's number of exotics and modifieds, we saw them dragging a brand new Viper back up the side of the canyon wall with cables on one of our late night excursions.
Nice video. I like to do that. Could you tell me where to park the car before starting the ride? Also any idea what is the best time to start the ride, early morning ?? Any time with less traffic would be great
Parking is super easy anywhere at the base of the Hill once you get off the freeway. It's a very dangerous ride. And if you are going to do this ride, you want to do it super early maybe no later than 7 a.m.

Well, I gotta tell ya - the supercars + speed don't really scare me. Mini-vans + low panic thresholds are what really scare me.
