My birds love planet pleasures! My cockatiel loves the medium octopus pinata!! And my Princess parrot loves this ring swing and also the pineapple forager!
My Gray and Macaw love the large octopus pinata and all of my birds like digging through the pinatas to find nuts. I am a huge fan of planet pleasures and love that I am helping people in the Philippines at the same time.

I really like Planet Pleasures toys. Most can be used as foraging toys by tucking seeds in between the weaves. I also sprinkle millet on the snow cone toy, which my conure seems to enjoy 🙂

I just got my first batch of planet pleasures toys for my rescue lorikeets. Good news is they're not scared of them the way they are with a lot of things, bad news is they won't touch them YET, so I have to be more patient. I even tried putting molasses on some of them to try to tempt them to lick them, but all I've got out of that is a sticky cage from me knocking them & spreading molasses everywhere lol. I've got a pinata toy & bits of the shredder ribbon in the cage so far, tantrums at me for changing the cage around by adding them, but no touching yet, but again, not scared of them, so that's a big thing with my guys! Being able to get a large, colourful toy inside the cage within hours of them seeing it is very unusual for them! Shows it's a good bird toy

Hello, I don't really recommend getting another bird if you have a Quacker parrot, just because they can be very aggressive towards other birds and they are very territorial.

She has done that for medium and large birds? I haven’t seen her do one for large parrots as she doesn’t have a large parrot. Nemo is the only medium parrot that she has.

I agree its important for your birds to always have at the very least 2 shredding toys available to them (And that would be if you are on a budget) an ideal number would be more like 4 shredding toys. Some with soft material like a planet pleasures pinata, and something with harder wood.

Harrisons are good pellets but I would encourage you to look into Tops. I feel like Tops is a step above Harrisons when it comes to pellets and it also happens to be less expensive so you can put aside some extra money for toys.
Nemo is so cute I love him i’ve always wanted to greet you can’t yard and a cockatiel but my parents won’t let me have one but they let me have a parakeet which is just as fun

Its good that you have been saving up for your bird. Its important to continue to put money aside for healthy pellets like Tops (Cheaper and in a lot of peoples opinions healthier than Harrisons), shreddable toys or materials to make toys if you are on a budget, and visits to the avian vet which can get very expensive. Birds are not cheap animals to own.
you should make a Elle's avian essential food kit so it would have all the pellets you recomend and all the seed mixes and other stuff for the bird chop.

Hello! I'll answer your questions to the best of my ability. 1. Most veggies/fruits are safe, though you'll want a lot of more veggies than fruits due to the sugar. The amount will depend on what your bird eats, so I'd start with a large amount and slowly subtract the amount your bird leaves when it's done. 2. Around two-three hours. Think: If you wouldn't eat it, your bird shouldn't either. 3. The absolute best diet for them can be pretty difficult to achieve, but the main bases you want to cover would be natural pellets (uncolored, preferably Roudybush, Harrison's, or TOPs), fresh foods (veggies, sprouts, legumes), and the occasional bit of seeds as treats. Be sure to change up the fresh foods when possible to make sure they're getting a good variety
I've got 2 birds and made a few mistakes, but you really helped me understand how to earn theirs trust, and keep them happy.

I made toys for my budgies with all safe materials and they tore those toys apart. I could not believe that these little budgies could do that.

Natural wood perches work quite well! You can also use platform perches and ropes (just avoid using these if your bird is a huge chewer).
