I agree with the toxic ex thing to a degree. eventually if it becomes mentally draining as the friend who is constantly there picking up the pieces + the shoulder to cry on, you have to wave a white flag & you just don’t want to hear about it anymore.

I’m on the same boat with remi everytime Alisha talks about the women who’s an expert on relationships. The things she says don’t blow my mind, and quite frankly don’t make much sense.

If you're the type to wait for the guy to make plans, I think you have to find a guy who actually does do that. You won't have to ask him or wait for him to do it- he will just do it. If not, you're just going to keep going through the same experiences and wonder why it's not working out... girl, you know why it's not working out. BUT, if you know what you want then you gotta stick to your standards and find those guys. And if he's not what you want, boy bye! Don't wait!

Omg I have a close friend that has been in and out of this TOXIC relationship for over two years (note: he’s had a fiancée and kid this whole time and my friend has been the side piece this whole time) and I STRUGGLE with knowing how to be there for her because I want her to feel supported but I’ve also given her the same advice/knowledge hundreds of times and they always go through this insane cycle and it’s hard to not give “tough love” and be patient
Support her for what? She’s continuing to make bad choices. You don’t need to be patient towards those who make bad decisions time and time again. All you can do is reiterate what a crappy person your friend and this guy are and move on with your life. Seriously. They will suck you in.
Alisha it’s not an “ego” thing it’s an insecure thing. Either you are afraid of being turned down OR you are just “old school” and you like the guy to take the initiative. You just need to know what you want and be honest with yourself about it
Idk what it is, but I just LOVED this ep! I've watched all the pretty basic eps, & have my favs, but I would literally watch this one again. I'm married, so I'm past toxic exes lol, but this was so interesting & reminiscent of past relationships/friendships! Also Alisha, don't worry about dating or bringing the dating content girl! Do your thing at your pace! Wish Remi & Alisha all the happiness in the world! Can't wait to meet this love guru btw!
Queens got me through cooking my little ones dinner, my son is 3 and he just ate almost half a pizza… it’s insane 😂 to be fair it was a small personal pizza but he’s eating everything
My autistic daughter is 6 and she’s very picky, like chicken nuggets, Mac & cheese and pizza & carrots (cheese puffs) I always feel so “proud” we go into a store and she’ll ask for “carrots” and people around me are like wow, wow look at that 😂😂 then I go and sneak the cheese puffs in cause that’s what she really meant. Love you 💓

I had a best friend who I cherished so much but I was in a bad place and it was very stressful times for both of us because we were seniors so we had a big falling out. It wasn't one thing but I bottled so much and we just stopped talking. Yeah they hurt me so bad but I know I wasn't perfect, I've made mistakes unknowingly and I realized that after a few months. It just sucks that in their head I'm probably the villain, the one who was in the wrong and the one who broke the friendship but they don't know how much they've hurt me. In the friendship, I didn't feel loved, respected, or appreciated. I was just there to fill their void when their other friends weren't there. I miss the good times, I loved them dearly but I guess it was meant to happen. I'm not the same person as I was 3 years ago. I'm sure they arent also...
omg, it felt great to rant because I stopped talking about her to our close mutual friend because I knew they wouldn't appreciate it and might think I'm obsessed or whatever. I think she texted me twice or maybe once but I was very anxious and was dry lol I hope they didn't think I was being mean haha

Unfortunately that happened with a friend of mine, I decided to be the one to step up because everyone hated him family and friends and I didn’t like the talking behind her back. I told her and I knew I had lost her and no longer going to be her go to person for her when she said well you don’t have to like him I do. I said oh ok, and we’re still friends but unfortunately that toxic guy is still there and it’s like walking on eggshells.

How do you deal with grief and get over friendships that have ended with no clear answer as to what exactly happened? A girl I used to be good friends with is only seeing the situation from her perspective and blaming everything on me. When in reality I have already apologized for my actions, but she won't apologize for her wrong doing or see the situation from my point of view.
