- Someone called me out in my last market analysis video so instead of bring factual whole sale data...lets go and find new C8 Corvettes Below MSRP. In todays video I find C8 Corvettes on dealer lots being listed for below MSRP. I called a handful of these dealers to confirm some of these prices. The intent of this video is to keep the Corvette buyers informed of real time pricing around Corvettes and hopefully enable fellow Corvette enthusiasts to get deals on their cars

One of the dealers is taking orders for the E Ray at MSRP here in Tennessee. I honestly have no sympathy for car dealers, they have ripped people off enough and now it's caught up with them.
Yep. Few dealers here with good prices on used GT500s which is a car on my bucket list but I know them as mark-up dealers last few years. Refuse to give them my business.
I guess that’s why they call them stealerships.
@@JumpSquadAuto You do know that in order for a dealer to offer "good prices" on used GT500s they have to offer the customer trading in the vehicle below market value
Hey! Who’s the dealer in TN? Thanks.
@@bigbossaj7029 my point/issue is these dealers were price gouging new GT500s for 20k-30k over so now buying a used anything from them is off the books. I just won't support the known price gouging dealers.
A simple solution to the problem is to boycott dealerships that price gauge. Eventually there will be one dealership within driving distance that will do the right thing and get all the business. I know several people that went over state lines to buy a C8 and got it at MSRP.
I ordered a car and I fully plan to tell the dealership that I want it below MSRP and if they don’t do it, I will walk away from my car because the day is coming and they’re going to have to drop all these cars below MSRP . Great video.
It's hard on ordered cars but on lot stuffs struggling to move. Especially 2023s. Interest rates and demand drop off is brutal. Thank you for watching
Thank you so much for exposing all these crooked dealers. You are absolutely correct that many deals can be had at a great discount off msrp. Today, I almost purchased a 2024 LT2 conv at 3.5k off the msrp of 90,890. I didn't like the front facing camera view and am looking to find a solution, but I most likely will buy this car within this week. I urge everyone to negotiate hard or simply walk away from unscrupulous dealers
I have a newer video talking about this. Join the facebook group in the description as well. There was one that was posted for 10k below MSRP. Seen several for 5k below in the last month. The markets correcting well past some of the ones I posted in this video. Good luck on your search man.
Paul Masse was always $500 under MSRP even the ones you had to order.
Learned something new. Did not know that. Thanks for watching
Sir you are doing God's work 🙏 🙌 Bless you! Your videos are educational and informative 👌 I sent this video to a dealership dealer 😂
Haha I'm not a mark up dealers friend lol
Thank you very much for sharing this!
Thanks for watching!
22 c8 convertible owner here, swflorida, I look at dealers here in florida for new ones, can't find any at all, one or two that do are still wayyyyyyyyy over msrp... only one dealer near me that has msrp but you have to put around 5k down and then you wait for car,,,, and wait.....and wait....
Check Jeff Belzers in MN…they have below msrp.
The whole economy and car markets shot. My work trucks seem to be holding flat haha
Long live TRUCKS!
Thanks for the info. Seriously.
Great news. Let's see if the same happens with the Z06
Thank you, I’ve waited a couple years so far I can wait a couple of more, I’m not gonna drive across country. Looking for a supposed deal it’s just a car guys.
Finally got my Corvette Z06 paid only $12K above MSRP!😊
you uh, got a little mixed up on the one at 4:47 hehe. otherwise, good vid.
If you saw my takes without the editing....you'd know I'm in a constant state of mixed up and confused lol
I hope you do a video on 2024 Camaros below MSRP
Thanks for watching. I don't follow Camaros as closely so don't have useful data around them. I don't think there will be a crazy mark up on them as their demand is much lower and they are only worth so much before hitting corvette prices.
More click bait

Thanx for the info, do you have any idea of how the 2022 C8R values are?
I had one in yellow. Loved that car. Just about everything in the car markets down. Only see one having gone through auction recently and it was almost 40 days ago. 4k below sticker for wholesale but it had some miles on it. Was a driven car. That edition cars value is heavily tied to its mileage. The low mileage ones seem to be hovering over MSRP but that could also be because dealers are upside down on them. Hope that helps
@@JumpSquadAuto Thanx for the quick reply, I purchased my c8r in July, 4000 miles on it and I paid 100k
@@paulsandum4443 it the best holding version of the stingray for sure
Point on!! 👍👍
The reason is soo much simple than that, the people who wanted to be first to own one and could afford it paid above msrp, 200,000 corvette to be more specific, now dealers have to sell what’s left below msrp to the last people who wanted one but can’t afford it, people doesn’t reemplace sports cars like they replace family sedans so the market for exotics is very limited and once you have yours you don’t need to change it every year but until the model completely change, i got 16 years with my C6 and six months ago i got a new C8 at msrp here in Fort Worth
GM needs to fix the transmission problem before I will consider buying another one.
All the ones you are showing are 2lt s or 3 lts- there is no base right now at msrp unless you wait but I do agree prices are coming to reality - no one should be paying above msrp I think next year HOPEFULLY will be the first year we see the 2020s back into the 60k range
The base ones are holding better. The higher specs are losing value quicker.
What do you think the 2024 c8 base will be worth in 3 years? I have a deposit down on one…I really want one but I keep thinking that the prices might tank and I know they’re releasing the c9 in 2028…at the same time I can’t imagine the c8 below 45k…or even 50k in 2028 just because there is nothing in its class. But I don’t know if I have some sort of bias. What do you think?
@@usmanshahid8277 just my guess here so take with a huge grain of salt....I think the base c8 will value hold better then anything else in its price point short of the GT500
In ct they have a 1LT for 66k and mass I found at 69k 67k and the cheapest I have seen is a 2020 1LT for 63k.
Also you need to consider the extra value on the left over 23 c8's. The 24's have increased about 4k over the price of an equivalent 23.
Great point. 2023s save 3-4k price increases and another few thousand below MSRP. I suspect we will see 2024s follow this trend in a few months
2024 for base even with price increase is a Better value has a lot of the safety stuff like rear camera mirror included
Could u give any info on dealerships flipping C8? Heard it was illegal
There is a dealer in CT who has sent multiple brand new cars straight to auction. I emailed GM and Chevy the vins and evidence and that same dealers gotten dozens of cars since. There's another big dealer who has multiple used cars they sold new exactly 6 months ago with sub 300 miles and were just trailered, stored, listed used from day one to resale.
Hi I’m interested in getting a C8. I will probably trade my Panamera in for one.
In my area I’ve seen a couple 70th Anniversary ones out here should I jump on one of them or just get a 2LT/3LT that’s a 2021-2022 with low miles.
Everything else I was going to upgrade on my own, but the 70th have a couple upgrades I like. In the price difference between them worth it
It really comes down to what you are happy with and how long you plan to own it. If your gonna own the car for a long time then order it the way you want and enjoy. If it's a short ownership stint then 3LTs are losing value faster then 2LTs right now.b
@@JumpSquadAuto I do plan on keeping it. Do you think it'll be any additional value by getting the 70th or should I get the cheapest 2LT/3LT with the lowest miles
Its hard to tell. I think lower specs are holding the best and they made to many 70ths. Over a long period I think anything that's driven and has miles will level out to where 70th wont matter as much as say the C8Rs which they only made 1k.
I am still looking for a 1LT just base model and the prices on those seem to keep moving up with the market. When they first hit they were $59,999 now they are what $65K-$67K and nothing has changed on them. You can find one online used with 15K miles and they want $74K. It's irritating!
id take a 1lt for anything under 70k
There's also inflation to consider.
Corvette over MSRP = a fool and his money
How is the Z06 doing? Below as well?
Dropping but not below msrp. I have seen several show up for 10k-15k over MSRP in Facebook groups. Many more around the 20-25k markups range which is down a lot from what markups were a few months ago.
Can you find one unde 60k without a lot of miles I’ve been looking for a long time I’m also subscribed to your channel
Thank you for subscribing. The low specs are still holding pretty well around MSRP. I haven't seen many below 60k that didn't have a ton of miles.
@@JumpSquadAuto ok let me know if you ever find any I appreciate your help no problem I love your channel I just want to get a second c8
Did you get actual purchase orders or drive out quotes? Dealers are notorious for adding mandatory "dealer add ons" even if the vehicle is advertised as discounted.
I called a handful of these dealers to confirm the advertised price. A couple of these cars have been marked down further to move them as 2024s are arriving.
any 1LT below msrp? looking for brand new for $60k. possible?
None that I have seen. 1lt are holding well. The new base price is also 69k and so dealer invoice would be mid 60s. Lower specs are holding value. It's the middle and higher specs that are below MSRP.
@@JumpSquadAuto I know. $69k. These were $63k a couple years ago. Sucks.
By selling a c-8 at or below MSRP they cant last very long. The dealers here in Missouri are still way high. They want 5K$ over MSRP for a used C-8 with 13K miles on it.They just do NOT go down on the price?
With interest rates going up, it’s nice to hear it might be time to get some savings on the MSRP!
What vehicle(s) are flippers going to look for now?
Higher end Porsches I think are about it. Even Lambos are down saw an SVJ for 600k and STOs aren't even getting MSRP bids at auction.
@@JumpSquadAutoI’m not sure, but I believe you were a day or maybe two days ahead of other channels I follow that are usually on top of things relative to Corvettes…..
Now, may I write an early letter to Santa?
Dear Santa, I’ve been a good boy this year: Patiently waiting for my ZO6 allocation to come through!!!!
Now, I’d like to add a Riptide Blue or Red Mist Zr1 to the list!!!!
Just like the one on page 43 of that Car Magazine, not the magazine with all the Pretty Ladies in it🤬🤬🤬🥴
@@kerry_glock I hope Santa grants that wish. 🙏🙏
I have been bird doggin the vehicle flippers. They are still gouging, just not getting as big of a profit. They are also expanding to different brands
Not discrediting that this does show signs of the market changing, however you are discrediting the “fake” discounts that they just mark back up when you’re there via fees. Also I can’t confirm that those cars as option actually have those msrp’s and could also just be made up, because tons of dealerships do that online.
Are any of these brand new?
They are all new. I did another video on used wholesale data last week.
If you do the research, and don't mind playing hardball you can get a deal.
Hopefully these dealers aren’t advertising below MSRP and then trying to hit you with a bunch of hidden fees to make up for that “discount”. It’s rough out there!
Get another one!
Z06 or ERay from here. Thank you for watching!
We'll make more..... Pretty sure that is what is going on in Bowling Green.
I'll sure as sh*t never own one when all they have are slushboxes.
Even at 87K the car isn’t worth it. 😂😂😂
Its a ton of car. Not much out there new in this price range with this performance. I'd try to stick closer to in the low 80s for a spec. Any of these high 90s and low 100s specs are throwing money away.
@@JumpSquadAuto Yeah my spec for my 2024 1lt was about 73k that has been produced but not delivered yet. It will be a long time before I sell it for 63k, lol A new base will probably be 80k in about 4 years which isn't long.
@@joewreckingballbiden9156 the lower optioned specs are holding value much better. Congrats on your car and hope you have a blast with it. You will love it.
@@JumpSquadAutolooking at the “Big Picture”, I am seriously ill and probably won’t get time to spend the retirement money I have saved. So in 2022 I got my dream C8 and it’s loaded with a lot of great options. (No Carbon Fiber, unless it came with like the GT2 Seats.). So yes it had a high MSRP ($90k).
C8, 2LT, Z51, HTC, Front Lift, Mag Ride, Red Mist Paint, liner Protection Package.
It’s a Super Car and much less than an Exotic. Excellent performance for most people and will run with or away from most stock production vehicles out there.
At 68, I’m not into the past and my vacations to Mexico, well, not that much, maybe once or twice a month😊
@@kerry_glock make the most of every moment. Hopefully you get your next toy asap
I'm keeping my Fiat 500. Winning. Bid-en Harriss 24.
Are these all used?
New in this video. Used in last week's video
I’m going to type this slow so everyone gets it. The dealer does not set the price… the market sets the price.
Just be careful. When I checked, they required financing through them, paint sealant, etc etc. They will also be dishonest and tell you to come in, then the surcharges happen. St
They are everywhere now
Almost 120,000 made so far
Zo6?
Still being marked up by most GM dealers. Mark ups are coming down a lot but still well over MSRP on Z06s
🙏🎄👍🙏
Has a C8 3LT owner they are still selling like crazy. I am on a long wait list for an E-Ray at multiple dealerships. The reservation list for the C8s anywhere you call are 18-24 months. The E-Ray and Z06 reservation lists have been closed at any major dealership I’ve called. Those dealerships are located in Texas, Florida, New Hampshire, South Carolina and Wisconsin. I am sure if I called and asked anywhere else in the country the situation would be the same. So with that being said to say that these cars are NOT selling is simply not true. They may look like they are not selling because the dealers have only used ones on the lot if they are lucky enough to have one at all. Until then I’ll keep standing in line like a kid at the amusement park waiting to ride the hot new roller coaster. Take care and have a great day.
This video focuses on the stingray and not the E-Ray and Z06.....18-24 month reservation list on a stingray? Find a better dealer. The three biggest dealers have a 3-6 month wait time on stingrays.
Stingrays shouldn't be taking 18 to 24 months. I am hearing of much quicker delivery times now.
You're not looking in the right places. I ordered my 2024 at MSRP at the end of Sept. and will pick it up at the NCM in the 2nd week of Nov. No money down. E-Rays aren't even in production yet, but will probably have an ADM pricing. As for Z06s I know of several, but not at MSRP, and while I could have ordered a Z06 I went with a fully loaded 3LT C8 as I also didn't want to pay a gas guzzler fee.
Just sold my 2023 2LT Stingray last week with 3k miles on it. MSRP was 81k. It sold for 85,500. Whether you like it or not… they are still selling for over MSRP. Yes you can find deals. But… my situation is still the norm.
It's idiots buying them
You're timing was just right with the buyer. With 2024 in the dealerships now at MSRP, those used prices will fall also or won't sell....
Yes you can find a C8 for MSRP, but probably not in the trim level you want or color, etc. Most and I mean like 95% are still selling over MSRP by several thousand. But nice click bate title.
Where are your facts? The nations top Corvette dealers sell thousands a year at MSRP with a 3-4 month wait times in your color and spec. That pretty much blows your 95% over MSRP sales notion out for any model year.....I've seen almost 40 now below msrp new across various locations......not click bait at all. The numbers growing as the markets turned.
The C8 market has collapsed? Exagg much?
20k swing in a year with thousands of dealers upside down on their used inventory and a 5x in avg hold time on used C8s....I'd say pretty accurate
@@JumpSquadAuto Used? Your video showed new cars, right? Who in the right mind these days would buy a used car with markups and whatever BS if you can buy a brand new one at MSRP all day long, excluding Z06s.
Extremely long-winded video.
