Do I need a teacher guide for this and is this for Pre-K to 1st grade?

No teacher guide needed! It tells you everything you need to know 😍
It's depends on where your child is at if this is the right level. This teaches letters, phonics, and words. You can still use it if you child knows their letters, but not words. The best part is the connecting intro stories. We have moved on to another curriculum that teaches to read, but this was definitely fun and easy!
