So many guys are coming up big for the Cubs this year. It honestly reminds of '16 in the sense that everyone is contributing. They are banged up with injuries yet they aren't missing a beat. I really love this team!

I was at this game today. It was so incredible to be out there with everyone today! I actually cried at one point, just to feel the comradery once again at Wrigley. Cubs are in first place and just beat one of the best teams in baseball by 5 runs! You gotta be feeling good right now considering where we were this time last year. Go Cubbies! Nice to have life back to normal again. God bless everyone.

@@alexandervallera4592 oh yeah. For the cubs he’s basically a rookie since he was just a flier the cubs took. He was the 4th overall pick back in 2013 and he’s only 26 so he is pretty young. He looked like he had some solid stuff out there today. He’ll probably make at least one more start in the next 10 days so I’m excited to see how he does next start.

I went to wrigley field on Saturday when they beat the reds 10-2. What a day

Paddack will be great as soon as he can start producing more ground balls. Our bats are quiet and need to be more aggressive. We can't be beating teams just because of their crappy bullpen because as soon as we play a team with a good pen we just get slaughtered.

The Padres have batted well against +.500 teams.. They are just on a slump. Hosmer, Cronenworth, and Grisham seem to be the biggest problem to the slump. They were all 3 batting well over .300 but now are sitting at .280 ish. Cronenworth at some point went 0-17 in a 4-5 game stretch. That needs to change.

This Cubs team is reminding me a lot of the 2011 Cardinals, several key players on contract years and a lot of injuries yet still finding ways to win with a solid bullpen. Also...5 years after winning their previous World Series 🤷♂️

Long-time Cardinals prospect who worked his way up through the system and raked at AAA/MLB in 2018. Had a down-ish year in 2019 after traded to the Rangers; then pandemic year in 2020. He's older (29), but hasn't REALLY had a shot yet.
