  • He was able to stop tamsulosin / Flomax after his UroLift. Nasal congestion and dry orgasms resolved after stopping tamsulosin / Flomax. UroLift was an easy procedure for him.
Patients typically recover in less than one week, often not requiring any pain medications after the procedure, and enjoy immediate positive results. No uncomfortable catheter is typically needed, and this procedure may be done in the doctor's office.

This urology center puts out so many highly commercialized urolift videos that their sheer volume makes it difficult to do legitimate research given how many of their videos flood a typical youtube search on the urolift procedure.

I took ONE dose of Flomax. The next morning I woke up congested, dizzy and with a pounding headache. Never again!

Same here. Unfortunately I didn't connect the dots until my second dose a few hours ago. I can not go to sleep right now due to a splitting headache. I am not going to take a third dose of this rediculously expensive poison I can assure you. How long does this stuff take to wear off?

Sales pitch for Urolift.. I have none of those side effects. Or rather neither of those 2 side effects. Been on tamulosin 6 years.
I have read many blogs on Urolift; good and bad. Retrograde ejaculation with Urolift.. And painful recovery.. catheter issues etc.
Prolonged bleeding. Plus, if you do have favorable results, it's only good for 4-5 years.
You did find one happy customer.. God bless him.

I experience every side affect this guy mentioned and have been taking Tamsulosin for 4 or 5 years now. I'm considering this procedure. The dry orgasms are lame.

I take Tamsulosin. It worked for me right away and I was so grateful. I take it before bed as advised by the Dr. to miss the side effects if any. He told me of them but, they must occur during sleep. When I do get up, I find I get a stuffy nose for an hour or so and I do experience a little mild unsteadiness from time to time during the day, as well as, a bit of nausea which passes quite quickly and happens only rarely. I've been on them 6 months now. I do and have for a lot of years now relied on natural sources for daily living, staying away from any over counter meds and pills and injections.

I just got on this and I take it a half hour after breakfast and vitamins supplements and other morning meds. TBH I think My Lisinopril may have taken a shit on Me. It probably helps to reboot the lisinopril. I think I got the inflamed prostate form My blood pressure thumping.

I used to take vitamin supplements but they seemed to interfere with the Tamsulosin making it difficult to urinate. I went off the vitamins and now I have no problems. I get my vitamins through natural sources, ie, natural yeast, bee pollen, etc. and the Tamsulosin is not affected therefore is very effective. Hope you can get it under control, it is such a relief. @@StephEWaterstram

Does flomax have expiration date or lose effectiveness past the discard date? Seems a shame to toss past rxs since I only take when stones are moving towards the exit? Tia

I have HAD to stop taking Tamsulosin because I was being crippled by GERD and I mean crippled by pain every time I had to bend and lift any weight, it relaxes the sphincter at the gastric junction. I am looking for a Urolift procedure, But if I pay it is £5000 over here for 30 minutes of operation time.Good rates of pay there then.

I had a urolift, horrible!! It didn't work. Staples came out. 2 years later, I tried again. Dr. punctured a vein, and that night, I was rushed to the ER. I spent 4 days in the hospital. The staff surgeon said he has "fixed" several urolifts and had a very low opinion of them. I pee better but still have to take Flomax or I dribble.
