As previously said I've pre-ordered T-Rex (169,90€ in Finland), but since Stratos 3 was at Mi Fan discount (179€) I did conciser to cancel order and get Stratos 3 instead, especially when Stratos 3 was at stock and still waiting T-Rex. Well ended up to still wait. Reasons for me was that I like T-Rex look better, with always on display it battery last about the same as Stratos 3. T-Rex also has good options to use button with Tools & Amazfit app, especially if combined with Tasker. Sure Stratos 3 has other good features, so maybe wrong decision from me but I don't regret it at the moment. Sure would be nice to test them all. :)

You forget the biggest difference between them. Stratos 3 could upload GPX, while T-Rex can't and that's main reason to stick with Stratos 3...Unfortunately, i found it after buying T-Rex...because no one was mentioned in reviews about it...

I ended up buying both watches, and returning the T-Rex because the Stratos 3 can do everything the T-Rex can do, but the T-Rex can't do everything the Stratos does. I would say for most people who want a daily watch for occasional exercise, the T-Rex is easier to live with due to its fast CPU and com link to your phone, bright screen for indoors, and much better user interface within the watch, but the Stratos 3 uses Firstbeat tech along with a usable outdoor screen.
If the T-Rex would share it's data with the Stratos 3, then I would keep both watches, but as it is now only one watch is active at any one time.
Does the stratos 3 gps accurate ??
@@danialkader2348 The T-Rex is more accurate because it looks onto the GPS signal faster and never loses it outdoors, but the Stratos takes some time to pick up the signal, and often loses it when I go between buildings.
Amazingly, the T-Rex picks up gps from indoors if there's windows. The T-Rex is just a much much better and faster watch, with longer battery life, faster recharging, more responsive. It just has two drawbacks.
1. No usable lockscreen or ability to disable touchscreen and still see the screen. It says something stupid like "press to read screen" and stays on!
2. Can't use FirstBeat.
The T-Rex is less readable in very bright sunlight, but is far more readable everywhere else.
Having different satellites on Stratos 3 is not much of an advantage when you obviously can't combine them together.

The most important feature of these watches is GPS accuracy, heart rate accuracy (for me, it is accurate in my training at sea) Stratos 3 makes these features with little deviation.
I think it's a good watch for its price
his software problems continue but his work is worth the money
if you do rough work or love outdoor just use trex

Stratos looks better. T-Rex looks like bulky GShock to me. Maybe I should wait for Stratos 4 or whatever.

Is there gps trajectory navigation in this watch? Or offline maps to navigate?
As both are more sportwatch than real smartwatch, is more important outdoor readability than indoor richer colours. Stratos 3 is the way to go.

Hello on the zepp app there is a section called my records where it records your best times for 3k, 5k ect. My current watch GTS doesn't support personal records. Does the T-Rex or stratos have this feature?

So trex doesn't come with always on display?? And does that means I can't actually look at the time in the sun light?
Success Emirate the T-Rex does have always on but with large digital display of the time. As soon as you move it returns to the watch face.

Going into the shade to read a amoled screen? It seems unlikely that you'll need to. You hold one hand to make shade over the watch. This oled is very bright. I haven't tested it in sunlight but I can easily walk in my pitch black bedroom with t-rex in flashlight mode. I'm sure I've owned phones with less screen brightness. The only screen improvement I currently want is for the auto brightness to go dimmer when I'm in a dark room.

The Stratos 3 has a transflective screen which is superb in sunlight. Despite the crisp AMOLED screen the t rex is harder to see in bright sunlight but you have to be really in extrem sunlight. I didn’t find it distracting at all and the Stratos 3 is really for professionals like serious athletes.
Excellent comparison, I am not sold to spend more money though.

I have the Amazfit Verge with Alexa I can make phone calls I can receive phone calls. wifi + luetooth connection. I mean 2019 model. I also have the amazfit Verge lite mi band 4. I thought about buying one of these with mine I have 4 gigs of storage dual core processor 512 ram. 1.3 AMOLED display. I know it doesn't have the latest Bluetooth and all doesn't have maybe the pace but the lite. I know I hate the farmer got updated and there's updates and uses the z e p p app now. I'm a few people can find The Verge out there with Alexa you have a better smartwatch and Fitbit watch you know I wear the me banned for on my right hand as well as I wear The Verge on my my left I do that because I want to track my workouts and then the other one I use for see what time it is and plus the other one does little bit more than the other one does
amoled vs transflective.. now you tell me :( stratos 3 screen looks horrible:( yes it's great that it can be read outdoors but it looks sooooooo cheap! compare it to original pebble for example: no comparison! all these years later and pebble beats it for contrast and reflectivity!

It sounds a little weird. An american guy buys a T-Rex watch and then his watch will connect to Russian navigation system GLONAS ?
Wow.
It might be misleading to say that it 'connects' with the satellites though. GPS devices are purely passive. They use the signals transmitted by the satellite, but don't transmit anything back. As a comparison, they will connect with Russian satellites as much as we connect with the sun.

@@Edmundajw Your comment is misleading as well, because my point was not that. Who cares how does it work and it's passive or active ? Obviously it's not like the Sun, because the Sun has no standard it's not GLONASS neither GAILEO and the Sun was not manufactured by Russians. It's a technical stuff designed and constructed and maintained by Russians, so it's quite weird if a product purchased in America based on Russian satelites and nothing else. Obviously US military products won't use GLONASS but it's weird even with commercial products. That was my point only.
