There are so many incredible Filipino singers. I could easily list 20 or so that should be international superstars (and, some are pretty close to that). Of them all, Morissette is my number one favorite. She is the total package and has paid her dues with hard work, training, dedication, perseverance, joy, love, humility. She deserves all the best that she could wish for.
For me ..dimash is seasonal...special occasions,..but Morissette is my everyday sounds!.... yeah!..thankz!.now you spotted the Asia's PHOENIX!...yey!..she's so cute bubbly!.sweet adorable!..but when you put her on stage to perform she is automatically transform into an ultimate vocal BEAST!...and her dynamics gradually beautiful..and in the end she will soar high as a PHOENIX!...addictive voice!!..and take note she's versatile!..not one Jenre only!..she can do rap!.and rock!..upbeat!..and can transform also to a sweet Disney princess voice!..and angelic!.. This is her Helen of Troy moment that brought her out of anonymity. She sang the long version on Asia Song Festival 2017 where she sang two songs where she even impress a singer from Little Mix on a Facebook comment. It will be highly recommended to you. Her original song "Akin Ka Na Lang" on the Wish Bus will be the most highly requested, make sure to turn on the Closed Caption. This highlights here range, breath control and a surprise arsenal, besides her signature "vocal frie", runs and belts.
I adore Akin ka na lang! It was written by Francis Louis "Kiko" Salazar when he was in love with a girl who didn't return his affections. She brought the song to the height of its popularity.
She's at age 24. She has been my favorite in the past 5 months. FYI, listening to this track is just barely scratching the surface on her amazing talent. She can hit vocal ranges from A6 through A7's without a hitch. In my opinion, some of her best vocal performances is with "Resignation" (In Korean, Tagalog and English), Akin ka na lang and Di Mapaliwanag. As of now she is under 600k subscribers and deserves to be in the millions.

For me Morissette Amon is the Best of the Best female vocalist in the whole world and of all time! Because she has it all, so many to enumerate, specially the voice or vocal emotions! Not just hitting high notes that matters, so many singers can hit high notes but the difference with Morissette is She has thousands of vocal emotions even when she's just talking or just speaking. Same also with Led Zeppelin band vocalist Robert Plant...They are my two favorite, because For me singing is all about emotions and how the singers express that voice emotions is all that matters to me. Boooomm! Haha...

ABSOLUTELY! I may not be gifted with a vocal or singing talent, but I love music of different genres, except hard metal/rock, I can be a musical/performer's good critique! Morissette is indeed The Best of the Best Female vocalist in the world, for one she does not use auto tune, most of the time, she sings LIVE and in Bus Wish 107.5 in particular, Filipino singers are just made to sit singing live on air or mobile radio station.. Very rarely, Filipino singers lipsynch in their live performances.She sings with all the right techniques, power and control and with all the with emotions telling the story of a song..

I first found Morissette ("Asia's Phoenix") 3 years ago, and was hooked after her performances of "Secret Love Song" and "Rise Up" on the Wish 107.5 bus. Since this performance, she has continued to improve her craft. She was "discovered" on CZcams by Rhett Lawrence, a former producer of Mariah Carey while singing a duet with Arnel Pineda (lead singer of Journey) on the WISH 107.5 bus. He visited her concerts in the Philippines and said in an interview on the WISH bus that she has "unlimited ability" (and that she is an extremely nice person). She is humble and very appreciative of her fans (she has mingled with them during performances). The thing that I love about her besides her gorgeous tone is that she always sings with 100% emotion, passion, and is joyful when she sings. She signed with Capitol Records in 2019; however, I don't know when her album will be coming out (if anyone knows, please let us know).
Among her many performances, I recommend:
1) "Rise Up" (Andra Day) on the Wish 107.5 bus
2) Akin Ka Na lang (original)- on the Wish 107.5 bus; get one with the English subtitles
3) Defying Gravity (Idina Menzel/Wicked)- musical theater song during the pandemic
Her voice soothes your very soul to face the daily living.

Jade Thirlwall actually posted a video of her and other members of Little Mix excitedly watching on CZcams Morissette's performance of Secret Love Song in the 2017 Asia Song Festival, South Korea. In that video, someone could even be heard exclaiming "Jesus" as Morissette was hitting the high notes.
Jade was so impressed that she followed Morissette on social media. Of course, Morissette was elated when she learned about it.
Jason Derulo, the songwriter likewise praised that brilliant performance.
Also awed were the organizers of the event- so much that they invited her to represent the Philippines again in the 2018 ASF, earning Morissette the distinction of being the first and only artist to have been invited to perform in the prestigious Festival for two years in a row.

Couldn't agree more with your opinion of her extraordinary singing ability. To me, she is the best vocalist of her generation. There are LOTS of videos of her with varying degrees of audio quality, so I would suggest you start with Wish Bus performances - excellent audio..

And I am telling you, from her concert in her hometown of Cebu, a home coming sellout concert, it was a song she hadn't sung for 10yrs, and it was her final song of a 29 song set, it's mind blowing to think the quality she still had left to even think about finishing the night with this song.
Why would anyone compare Dimash and Morissette? Their art is in totally different spaces. I do have to say even though Dimash vocals are out of this world i don't find myself returning to what ive heard or looking for more of his music.To me it is impressive but not memorable. With Morissette i will watch people react to her music over and over and will seek out new songs she uploads. Maybe it is a guy thing, we love looking at beautiful women and her beauty shines through even more because she sings with such emotion and passion.

Dimash just sings to impress. But i'm not impressed. The essence of the song he sings is lost when he does those vocal calisthenics to impress his audience. That makes him a mere vocal athlete, not an artist with a soul.

When I watched this, a couple of years ago, I didn't think anyone could do it better. Then I heard her sing it again at ASF2017 and could hardly breath during the performance. You are right and Adam really should watch it.
