Wanting to playback from the device is the thing, I wanted. Great especially if you have to show the video to law enforcement at the screen of the accident.

Hopefully it last longer than the U1000 which I purchased 2 and only got about 14 months of use before they failed. They 1st one was drawing too much power and melted the cigarette lighter plug. So I switched to hardwired which blew the inline fuse and when connected to a battery pack the terminal became unsoldered. The second one video quality isn’t as good as the 1st. It doesn’t seem to stay in 4K and it cuts off in 80 degree weather and when I push the wifi button it sounds like a scratched record on repeat and shuts off.

Cuz they make garbage they only say starvis but not which sensor it's now 8 years old starvis 315 or whatever you're about you guys not make shite and maybe use good cpu soc and sensor if go pro only made dash cam they have imx 615 I think

If I use 12v lighter plug for my camera does it record’s while parked?

Hi Savneet, Unfortunately, the 12V Car Charger will not allow you to use the Dash Cams Parking Mode. To do so, this must be installed with the Hardwiring Kit, OBD-II Cable, or iVolt Battery Pack.
