If you are not baptized in the blood of Christ, you are participating in a symbolic ritual.

@@thewholecounselofgod7887 and e.r.m. This is where I get the teaching! From CoC like "The whole council of God"!!!!
Your baptistry must be be filled with the blood of Christ? This is like Catholics believe the juice and bread are the body of Jesus!!
Truth: Baptism is a symbolic ritual.

Whats the name of the father? Jesus. Whats the name of the Son? Jesus. Whats the name of the Holy Spirit? Jesus. Correct baptism is in the name of our Lord Jesus or In the name of Jesus Christ. So therefore,
Acts 2:38. Reply back to me you trinitarians

@@bama101010, this is as good a scripture as any that shows the Jewish believers in Jerusalem were still zealous for the law. But this doesn't change the gospel that Peter and Paul similarly preached. Paul followed the advice in vs. 26 given to him by the brothers in vs. 24. And despite everything Paul said regarding circumcision, he circumcised Timothy
Acts 16:1,3 Paul came also to Derbe and to Lystra. And a disciple was there, named Timothy, the son of a Jewish woman who was a believer, but his father was a Greek, [3] Paul wanted this man to go with him; and he took him and circumcised him because of the Jews who were in those parts, for they all knew that his father was a Greek.
I think Paul understood that although circumcision and the mosaic law were no longer binding,
Galatians 3:23-27 But before faith came, we were kept in custody under the law, being shut up to the faith which was later to be revealed. [24] Therefore the Law has become our tutor to lead us to Christ, so that we may be justified by faith. [25] But now that faith has come, we are no longer under a tutor. [26] For you are all sons of God through faith in Christ Jesus. [27] For all of you who were baptized into Christ have clothed yourselves with Christ.
It was also not WRONG for the Jewsish believers to follow the law if they so chose, since the law wasn't inherently bad, as it was from God. Otherwise, Paul would be sinning by circumcising Timothy and following through with what he did in Acts 21:26. I think Paul also understood that it would take a while for the Jews to fully grasp the transition that had happened. It was easier for us gentiles to grasp that the mosaic law was no longer binding Acts 21:25 since we didn't start off with the law. Paul condoned where the Jews were by his actions in vs. 26.
But even with all this, baptism in water in Jesus's name was a separate issue as it was not part of the law, and Paul put baptism on the side of faith opposite from the side of the law Galatians 3:23-27.
