Nobody needs a reminder that the Ohio State Buckeyes have had one of the greatest college football programs for over a half-century now. If it weren’t for the Alabama Crimson Tide, the Buckeyes would be perhaps the most desirable school for football players in all of America.
That being said, being the star quarterback for the Buckeyes doesn’t guarantee success in the NFL. In fact, most signal-callers who were drafted out of Ohio State simply didn’t pan out when it came to the professional level.
Today we present 10 GREAT Ohio State Quarterbacks who FLOPPED in the NFL.

10 times, nobody predicted a No. 1 overall pick
Where is Braxton Miller??
He turn into a wide reciever
Ikr
death Slayer he played QB for 3 seasons before WR and was one of the most electric payers to watch at QB
Yeah he was
Wide Reciever
Cardale jones doenst deserve to be on this list because he hasn’t gotten a opportunity to show while everyone else I can agree with but jones hasn’t even had a opportunity but if he can stay on the roster he should have a opportunity when Philip rivers retires
Freddy FTW same with JT Barrett
Moving from team to team says something candle Jones and jt are bust
Freddy FTW yeaah he’ll be there forever than let’s be honest
He can't speak the English language very well but he is a good QB. Remember he "Ain't come to play skool."
Cardale will be a career 3rd string 😂
Who here after dwayne haskins was released by the football team
Please do more collage football top tens
college
Any suggestions?

Cardale did not lead them to 2 fiesta bowls that was JT Barrett cardale won us the sugar bowl big 10 championship and the national championship but he did not get us in the fiesta bowl
I got to say it he did lead them to two fiesta bowls but he isn't doing to well either he keeps getting out of free agency because of the new Orleans saints but they already have a goat of a quarterback in drew brees so JT Barrett was one of the most successful quarterbacks for Ohio state he is still a draft flop in the NFL now
10 most unsuspecting losses In NFL history
Yep
thats true
Yes he did
My man jt Barrett 😂
You guys should do an editorial on the patriots collapse debate
Troy Smith, Terrell Pryor, Braxton Miller, J.T. Barrett, and Cardele Jones basically all the Ohio State quarterbacks I got to see
I strongly disagree with Cardale being a a flop because he hasn't had a true opportunity
*I didn't know there was 10 great Ohio State quarterbacks...*
RyanCats28 they just sucked in the nfl
LMAO
U must not have paid any attention to us at all.
Jt Barrett cardale Jones Braxton Miller Troy smith Terrell Pryor joe Germaine Dwayne Haskins joe burrow Kirk herbsteit and Bryan hoying
QBs who weren’t highly touted in college but proved to be an elite QB.
Holy SCHLICT! It is pronounced SHLEE-ster. Come on, man!
Schlicter's back up was Mike Tomczak. Tomczak went on to play 15 years in the NFL. I know this is supposed to be about the "flops", but a lot of hatters seem to offer that Ohio State QBs are bad by necessity. Some have even offered that this will extend to Haskins who has not been drafted yet. It's foolish all the way around.
Braxton Miller, JT Barrett, Kirk Herbstreit

Once you see the bouncing elbow, you can't unsee it!
You can add Dwayne Haskins to this list.
U guys should do this same list for USC QBs
10 best NFL players who played in the CFL
This hit me on a personal level
It's hard to flop when drafted in 11th round that's like saying a QB drafted in round 7 in today's draft who only played 3 games before retiring
If you did a video on Alabama quarterbacks, it would be nearly an hour long.
Art Schlicter. Should do a video just on him alone. Such a sad and tragic story.
Top 10 small college qbs
Braxton miller comes to mind. I think this Dwayne haskins kid is special though. Most of the qbs that come out of ohop state seem to be dual threat guys. I'm not saying they dont succeed in the nfl. I'm no fan of ohio state. But i think this kid they have will go places in the nfl
This is great 🙂
You guys should do Teams that are going to be dynasties
To be fair to Troy Smith he was slated to start for the Ravens but had mono that derailed him
Do the top 10 biggest contracts that was bust
I love OSU but their QBs never do good in the NFL
It is mighty funny that this list comes up when the best QB in the draft is Haskins of OSU. You could do this list for the entire Big Ten.
I love that Tom Brady has more SB rings than all 10 of these QBs combined, let that sink in
i think Ohio state is more known for having more successful RB's go into the NFL
Was expecting braxton miller or tj barret to make this list lol

Dwayne Haskins

Jt barrett Braxton Miller. I bet you can make a list of 10 good QBs that came from OSU

Nice troll having a Brady Jersey, a Michigan QB, in the background 😂😂😂😂
Especially since Brady wasn't expected to do much in the NFL, except by Belichick. And I suspect he was somewhat surprised how things worked out. Btw, Brady doesn't have a lot of fond memories from his UM days.
Top 10 notre dame football players that went pro and had a good career
Joe Germaine is the dad of one of my friends. I knew he played in the NFL but I didn't know he was a bust.
No JT Barrett. He broke every single career passing records in Ohio State.
You don't draft running backs out of Penn State and you don't draft quarterbacks out of Ohio State.
David Reynolds What about Saquon
@@nickwever9514 - Jury is still out. One good season does not make a career.
@@davester1970 Saquon is a Stud. Did you ever hear of Curt Warner, John Capelletti, Lenny Moore, Larry Johnson, Franco Harris....???

I don’t agree with the title that the qbs flopped because some of them didn’t even get a real chance in the NFL
Cardale Jones is good in the XFL at least
Hard to call them flops when they were never expected to do much. Like how do you call a 5th round pick a flop?
If all these QBs are classified as great then D. Haskins must be Godlike.
You forgot J.T. Barrett IV @TPS
10 NFL teams stuck between two star players
I’m an Ohio State fan and I’ve noticed this. I wonder why we really don’t do well.

top 10 best kickers and punters
The reason most Ohio State QBs don’t make it in the NFL is simple: the spread offense. It’s not even close to an NFL, pro style offense. And that’s all they run at OSU. Who knows how Haskins will pan out (he looks to have an NFL arm), but odds are he won’t be anything special
Since urban liar got there yes but did cooper run the spread? Plus that excuse doesn't really work anymore with the spread qbs who are really good in the nfl
Will this happen to haskins?
Craig krenzel went to my high school

Early 90’s Bills
80’s Broncos
70’s Chargers
Fran Tarkenton’s Vikings
You should add Dwayne Haskins on the list.
Do worst coaches for all nfl teams
Most of those guys we're even drafted or were low draft picks. Art Schlicter is the only guy I remember being a 1st rd pick because I'm 55 yrs old. Ohio St probably feels like Alabama that a guy who's just a good college player is sufficient. Alabama hasn't had a 1st rd QB since Richard Todd by the NY Jets in 1976!!! Ken Dorsey, AJ McCarron, John Schaffer, Tee Martin, Tommie Frazier all won the CFB national championship....would did they do in the NFL?
With Troy Smith being such a mobile quarterback I don't think he was expected to be an All-Pro in the NFL all though he was a Heisman trophy winner that's why I distracting the 6th around today if he came out he probably would have more success
if you put cardale then wheres jt and braxton, even though im an OH fan you've got to include the trio
I agree Braxton Miller was disappointing he never lit up anything in the NFL.
Before the vid starts I think Braxton Miller and Cardale Jones will be on here
Edit: where is Braxton Miller
I forgot about ole Troy!!
You screwed up #1...
It’s Art Schlicter (Schlee-ster)
You are pronouncing Shlicter's name wrong.

Ok
If Tom Brady is the G.O.A.T. he should never lose the super bowl.
Troy, if Montana is the GOAT, why didn't he make it to more Super Bowls?
@@isaacm.t4153 Because he be injured a lot with the 49ers and they let him go. So he played with the Kansas City Chiefs and he try to get, to his 5th Super Bowl with his new team. He also lost 1993 AFC championship against Buffalo Bills.
