It’s better to be on the flip side, where a great quarterback learns from plenty of mistakes and failures in their rookie season. Believe it or not, some of the best signal-callers to ever play the game actually looked like big-time busts during their first go-arounds in the NFL.

To call Goff great is a little premature. Even Elvis Grbac had a few good years.
You gotta remember that this is TPS. The same TPS that thinks very little of a player like Russell Wilson, but will metaphorically blow players like Goff, Winston, and Dak... it is all done with zero shame, too.
Goff is mediocre, he just has a good supporting cast. His biggest weakest is reading plays

This is why Josh rosen shouldn't be traded. Cardinals o line is awful. and he was thrown in at the wrong time. I wouldn't pick an undersized qb first overall.
Everytime I hear someone call Rosen a bust, I always bring up the people on this list
If the Cardinals organization truly believe Rosen will not mentally be a franchise qb, then maybe trading him would make sense. However if they are just trading him on bad play alone that would be a mistake imo.

Dallas wasn't willing to pay the right price, and now they are probably glad they didn't get Earl... Earl is great when he is on the field. He IS the best FS in football, but these last two seasons have shown him as being very injury prone. Whether or not ET's best days are behind, him is up for debate... I personally think that ET will be able to come back from this latest injury at about 85% the player he was before 2017, and that means Pro Bowl level, but not all-pro level. That is still amazing, and he is capable of making it look like the Ravens got a steal here, with this new contract, but...
Sadly, that is rather unlikely to be how this will play out. ET has severely broken his left tibia, TWICE, and these injuries have been happening over these last three seasons (more like 2.25 seasons). He was thinking about retirement, after that first time he broke his left tibia, in December of 2016.
I wish Earl the best, so long as it doesn't harm the Seahawks.

297 Yards 1 TD an interception that was Gurley's fault. CJ Anderson 16 Carries 44 yards (2.8 YPC) and Gurley had 4 carries 10 yards. Goff had 2 unbelievable throws that set up the game winning field goal.

Josh Allen had a bad rookie season, and his second year was better but still far from perfect. Then in Year 3 he exploded and has been one of the best QBs in the league ever since. If he keeps playing the way he has, he'll be headed for the Hall Of Fame someday.
