Making a beat while limiting myself to the stock instruments and devices of Ableton Live. I use Ableton's Drum Synths to create a drum kit and then use audio effects such as Hybrid Reverb and Guitar Amp/Cabinet to process the sounds. I then improvise around a colorful jazz flavored chord progression that moves between an altered dominant chord and a minor11 chord. I use Ableton's Analog synth to record a keyboard part, a bass part and a lead.
