    Played it with my daughter and she really liked it. Simple is always better :)

    Watching you play brings me back to Dungeon Pages a bit. If this game takes off, maybe variant maps/towns/buyers could be a way to have "expansion packs".

      Well, never say never, but the print and play roll and write marketplace is a crowded one :) But I appreciate your enthusiasm!

      I like the idea of having the choice to purchase the rolled item from the trader.

    Hi @loneadventurer, I've been binge watching your channel these past few days and had a question. Can you remember where you bought your dice? (bit random i know) I liked the lime green & the red one's you had in your 2d6 Dungeon playthrough and the blue in this playthrough are pretty nice too.
    Keep up the great work, I wouldn't have discovered a lot of these games if it wasn't for your channel. Although... my wallet ain't too pleased!

      Ha, apologies to your wallet! Glad you're enjoying the channel though!
      The dice I got from Amazon (other retailers are available). I just searched for 'colour dice' and found a similar pack of ten dice each of ten colours (I think my pack is a little smaller). No doubt you'll find similar packs on ebay.

    I purchased the game earlier today and just had my first play through. Overall I enjoyed it, but flipping between three different pages for each turn felt a bit awkward. I think it might benefit from some layout changes - I think it might make things easier to move the map off the shop page and include the local customers in its place. Then I would move the map, foraging tables and out and about events onto the second page. That way you would only need to flip between two pages instead of three. Apart from that (and a couple of minor typos) I found it quite enjoyable.

      Hi and thanks for your comments! The reason I've got the map on the main page is I wanted to keep all the content that you write on on a single sheet. Its the same reason why the out-of-town customers are on that page and not the local cutomers.
      But I agree that it can be a little clunky switching between three sheets. I will have a think - maybe moving the foraging tables onto the events sheet would help. That way, there would only be two sheets.

      @@lone_adventurer I had a "D'oh!" moment when I was starting my second play through. (Though in my defence I used tokens to mark foraged areas.) Moving all the tables to one sheet would definitely be a huge help. I would also add a column to the trader tables so you could quickly see the "Buy" and "Sell" prices for the goods.

      @@amosbaJust launched an updated version on itch.io with the tables all on one sheet (will be on drivethru soon).
      I like your idea about separate buy / sell prices, especially as that means I could have a variable amount of profit (currently you make 2 coin off each resell of a trade good, but I could make it so some get you 3 or 4 coin). I've saved that idea for a future update though!

    I must be doing SOMETHING wrong cause I got 35 on my first game in a dice rolling game, games where I have very bad luck! Still though, questions, if I am foraging in a season that favors a map tile I'm in, and on a map tile that has a +1, do I get 3 foraging rolls? Or do I forage and get +2 to the roll? ie I'm in the forest in autumn and the forest has a +1.

      @lone_adventurer  Před 3 měsíci +1

      Might be you had excellent luck or maybe the game still needs some balancing 🙂 the recent update increased the loss of CP for use of haggle and eagle-eye points and made it a little more costly to use an assistant. These adjustments might make it a little trickier to score high.
      On your question - you would get three rolls (and three goods) if you were on a +1 roll location in a favourable season.

      I must be doing something wrong even though I'm sure I followed the rules correctly this time I STILL got, no joke, 42. I'm gonna need to play again.
