What's there to be worried about? Mine has way more detail, my sounds are much better and accurate, mine comes with a matching aux and 15 passenger cars, and mine is based off what 611 looks like now. So if someone doesn't want to pay for mine because Bens is free, then good for them. But mine is definitely the better of the two.

4501 is already on the website project list for this year. I don't have much of a knowledge base for the western steam engines. I have an almost endless amount of resources for the eastern stuff though.

+Alex Paumen No it's not. It's the whistle 611 wore in the 80s and 90s. The whistle it wore last year was a UP FEF whistle, so it's not the correct one. Mine is from a recording of 611.

There is hope that it will be back on the engine sometime this year for the 2016 season.

When he left the 611, he took his whistle with him and 611 was given the garbage one it wore for several decades. why doesent the whistle from now sound like this anymore i remember watching a 611 video that said 1992 and sounded exactly like this
611 still uses a Hancock 3 chime, but it has a different pitch so either it is the same whistle, but toned down, or a new whistle whistle entirely.

Incorrect....the consist was 7 and later dropped to 5 and as low as 3 as the passenger traffic decreased.
I live in Roanoke where the main base of n&w is and it was always 5 cars well until they sold the observation cars
It started as 7 and was dropped to 5. All of these pictures from 1948-50 show it as a 7 car consist.
