It looks to me for several years now that you do amazing work. Please keep at it. We need this, and looks to me that you really know what you are doing without the use of meds that people now rely on, rather than getting the body to work in the way it is supposed to work.

You are the Sherlock Holmes of the body! I love how you described the whole process of investigating, testing your hypothesis and making an accurate diagnosis - and then treatment. I wish I lived closer to your location. I just finished physical therapy for a 3-year-old back injury (caused by a chiropractor), and the "therapy" did nothing but irritate my back more. I love your videos & use whatever I learn that's relevant in order to stay healthy and active. Keep them coming. Thank you very much!

Love your hands on. Nowadays clinicians are afraid to trust their skills. They want an xray, a CT or an MRI and you're lucky if they look at you. ? fear of missing something ? malpractice? Love clinicians who are comfortable relying on their skills ( vs images) to diagnose. Your patients are very lucky to have you.

Thanks very much, Nicole! You're spot on - unfortunately, both appreciation for and dedication to the art of physical examination is fading. Such a shame!

@@painfixprotocol Where were you trained? My husband was trained at McGill University in Montreal. Had to rely on his physical to properly diagnose. I believe they only had 1 CT in the entire city. That was 1977.

@@nicolegermain9054 I've been very fortunate to train with some excellent clinicians and diagnosticians - often in places where resources were very limited. Early in my career, any request for imaging had to be fought for - I was required to present all relevant history, exam findings and outline exactly what I expected to see on the study - and provide multiple differential diagnoses. Seemed like a pain back then, but it definitely engrained a specific thought process.

Yes! It's content like this that's needed to convince people to see a chiropractor!

It's becoming less and less common. Such a shame too because it's so much faster and less costly than imaging studies. And when performed properly, can provide lots of critical information.

Viewing the area is important for lots of reasons: Check for atrophy, structural deformity (evidence of fracture - like a "step sign"), swelling, muscle quality, signs of infection, etc. It also allowed for proper sensory testing.
