    you should never spray plasterboard base without rolling. And even the topcoat i almoust always prefer rolling with spraying. Great to see graco going for wireless on this machine. I use my FF AC only for solvent base primers and 595 contractor for everything else. Though im thinking of getting another FF for panel work laying water based topcoats after solvent base. Allthough you can do both on one machine, it´s just more hassle and clogs the filtters more quickly as you never get the machine that clean before switching from turpentine to water based and vice versa. This new battery powered machine is tempting for also getting one machine without the need for power outlet. The hopper design is exelent for smaller amounts of paint and wood panel work. For regular wal and ceilign paint its somewhat small and getting 495 or 595 is much better idea.

    What the little black cap on the back of the machine do? Looks like a funnel with a hole when you take the cap off

    Would you recommend this spray for a contractor to paint duplex after duplex? That’s what I do, I’m a painter and currently looking for a spray that’ll do a nice job. And also, do you follow along with a roller?

      @GOIndustrial  Před 2 lety +3

      I’d definitely recommend the 390PC Cordless over the GX19, the endurance pump will handle more volume for sure, without wearing out the piston Rod too quickly on the GX19. Back rolling, or following along with the roller is recommended for undercoat and final coat, it really depends on your specifier. Definitely a topic of debate, but when in doubt, back roll to make it easier for clients to touch up in future.

    Do you still need to use the grounding cable if you are only running waterbased paints through the unit?

    • @GOIndustrial
      @GOIndustrial  Před rokem +1

      Waterbased materials can be run without grounding the unit. This is only for oil-based and solvent-based paints!

    this is my next machine 💯 ... do you ever stain your paint while spraying?

    • @GOIndustrial
      @GOIndustrial  Před rokem +1

      We generally do strain, for sure! Avoids a lot of headaches with tip blockages, etc - particularly if using older paint stock. Enjoy the new machine when you pull the trigger!

    I have the corded gx 19. I paint cabinets. I get lots of runs with this. I don’t know how to dial it in. Just when I think I have it dialed in, a few minutes later iv got runs. I spray either Sherwin Williams Gallery or Emerald Urethane. I have a 310 tip. Any recommendations? Psi recommendations? Thanks!

      Get yourself a good quality hvlp….much easier to control the paint volume. You can use a spray tan plastic paint cup for small awkward areas

    Hi mate, thanks for the video.
    Can you advise if the GX19 cordless is any different from the GXFF cordless?

    • @GOIndustrial
      @GOIndustrial  Před 2 lety +2

      The GX19 cordless and GXFF cordless are the same machine - different regions of APAC (Asia Pacific) to US/Europe generally have different names for the same models. I hope that answers your question!
