Oh you lucky duck. I turned 16 the following late June.xx dang. I'm also distantly related to Elvis on my mom's side. She's from Tenn. Elvis did stop at their house, twice, out on Parsons Ridge, rt 70, just outside of Crossville, up on a high , small Mt top, a 20, 25 Mille stretch, pa Parsons, Lina Beecher Parsons, was 6th of 9 sons. One owned a small gas/convince store, another owned the small Tavern that Elvis gave my Great Uncle Rosco, a ride to and politely drank one beer with him. A few mths before he became well known.xx our family cemetery, small,on a beautiful gentle slopping.. hill, was 98% Parsons and Presley tombstonesxx
Thanks for letting me ramble a little.lol. I was 97%sure , when I could speak to Elvis, he'd pick up on our shared bloodline. Sadly I was 15 a few short weeks when he passed. Instead track of a solid week. I'll tell , next time, the absolute realize dream I had, sounds, smells, colors. Elvis practicing etc.xx
Elvis was the coolest guy that ever lived, and I dont even know who might be a close or even distant second.
Totally agree!
Amen brother! T⚡️CB
So true CC! Elvis Presley was definitely a one of a kind! Absolutely incredible!

She has great memories. Lucky lady! It always annoys me when people get comped tickets who don't appreciate the performer. I love that she taped the last concert.

So true!! Thanks for watching
I have that album, "The Last Farewell" and the "New Year's Eve" concert and they hold a special place with me. I was only 5 when Elvis passed, but I remember that day like it was yesterday.
It’s Great to have people who were at Elvis concerts give their witness they won’t be around for ever !
Totally agree!! Thanks for watching
Excellent! Sweet Lady! She is very luky to see the king! Thank you for sharing with us!
Thanks for watching!
Great interview Jon what a lovely lady Linda is very lucky to have seen Elvis in concert...... if he had of come over to England i would of been first in the queue for a ticket
I believe this!!! Lol
I saw Elvis in April of 1976 in Seattle. I was 16 years old and didn’t want to go. My mom bought tickets for her and my dad but my dad had to go out of town on business. So being the oldest I was dragged to the concert. I’m so glad I got to see him, but what I remember the most was all the screaming women out of control. At this time in my life I was listening to Lynard Skynard, the eagles, Fleetwood Mac etc... It was a time I’ll never forget.
What a cool memory. Thanks for watching
Simple music can make you sing simple hug can make you feel better simple things can make you happy, i hope my simple Hello brings smile to your face
Thanks!! Great hearing from a real Elvis fan who was right in there in all the action!!!
Thanks for watching!
Such a great story, what a honor that she saw him 7 times. And she recorded it on tape so cool.
Thanks for watching!
'70, '71, '74, '75, & '76. all in Houston except for the '75 show which was Shreveport, La. was, is, and will always be the greatest entertainer to ever step foot on a stage. have seen countless others perform and nobody even comes close.
I went to the Shreveport concert ♡❤
Omg! Lucky lucky you !!!!
@@toomylight2311 i agree 100%

Thank you… I’m glad you enjoyed it
Hello from England
Thanks for "chatting" with Linda - such a lovely lady.
Such a lucky lady to see ELVIS "in the flesh" so to speak. Having taken some photo's as well and having them in a photo album and the cassette tape Nearly 50 years ago good quality pics and being so close to the front. Such GREAT memories and that is what it is ALL ABOUT.
The front row seats -NOW thats called Corporate Hospitality -it still goes on today - its not what you know but who you know
I’m glad you enjoyed it. Thanks for watching!
Younger folks these days might say what is the big deal with Elvis & these kind of stories. It's hard to compare it to anything they have today. But as those that are the faithful of the man, know beyond any shadow of a doubt that Elvis was something very special. Entertainers like Elvis only come around once in a lifetime if you're lucky. I'm just glad to say that I was alive to enjoy a good part of his gift he shared with millions.
Thanks for watching
Such a lucky lady.
After All These Year's Elvis Is Still Remembered And Loved . *
To see Elvis live...what an experience...I'm positively jealous...there should have been many recorded live for the world to watch....and Bridge is one of my favourites.
Thanks for watching
Thank you, for the interview. This is fantastic. And the fact that she taped the show is outstanding. It would be nice if she could have played some of the cassette tape for us to hear.

Oh, Linda, my heart was really beating fast while I listen to your audio... I would locve so much if you could tell us so muych more about the concert and about him on stage! I did not have the chance to see my King on stage because I'm from Brazil, but I drink in everyword of the lucky people who got to see him in person... such a magic moment!! and congrats, JOHN, the interview was great!! LONG LIVE THE KING!
Thanks for watching! I appreciate it
I've heard for years that EP's last concert was actually one of the best concerts ever. He introduced his father to the audience and he appeared to be upbeat and feeling great. He was overweight, but nonetheless very handsome, and his voice was awesome and he didn't miss a beat.
I’ve heard the show and it’s amazing. Thanks for watching
It's on CZcams, I copied it years ago to a cd video. It's fan filmed with soundboard.
Simple music can make you sing simple hug can make you feel better simple things can make you happy, i hope my simple Hello brings smile to your face

Jon, I loved hearing Linda talk about ELVIS...I also saw him seven times in concert... All over the SOUTH....ALABAMA, MISSISSIPPI and LOUISIANA. We also slipped in out little cassette player.... played it on the way back home and all we could hear was me and my sister going OOOH and AAAH...our husbands said that we sound just like WE WERE IN LABOR....We were not as LUCKY as Linda...we always had nose bleed seats....but we didn't miss a move !!! He was ALWAYS WONDERFUL....MY husband said that I would spend the babies milk money to go see ELVIS.... Thank goodness I didn't have to choose....I ❤ ELVIS...
Thanks for sharing your memories!
There is nothing like seeing him in person.
Lovely to hear Linda's story - and wow that tape she has is something special no matter what the sound quality 🎶🎸🎶
Thanks for watching
I saw him in Ohio, July , 1975, and August, 1976. This was in Richfield, Ohio.
In 1976 concert, I was on the floor seating, 6 rows back.
Another great story. Loved it. Thanks again.
That’s awesome. Thx Linda!
Would love to hear more of her stories. Maybe a video about each of the shows she went to.
Great video Jon. I agree with you, she is a super fan.
She’s such a great fan of elvis
Maggie how are you?
Great memories Linda! I saw him on New Year’s Eve 1976 in Pittsburgh. 3 busloads of us left Toronto and travelled through difficult blizzard conditions to make it just in time for the concert.
We were on the floor, centre, row L and couldn’t believe how good our seats were.
He did not disappoint and it remains one of the greatest memories of my life.
First visit to Graceland was 1979 and my last one was 2018 for my 60th! Hope to get back again soon! Loving Elvis Forever from Canada 🇨🇦
