When I have done Dolmen power leveling, I also take that as a good time to get my class skill lines all up to their morph point at minimum.

Instead of disbanding your group for skyreach, both of you click leave instance and then switch your group from normal to veteran and then back. This will refresh your instance and you can walk back in!

Great guide - Dragonstar Arena similarly gives a ton of XP, just like BRP, but I find it's much easier to just go through completely meaning you can get Master Weapons for your Sherpa AND you don't have to back out at the end of round 1 every time. We got my wife's new tank from 1-50 in about 4 / 4.5 runs with a 150xp scroll and training gear (there wasn't even a double XP event live, so I can't imagine the speed you could do right now!)

@@pandobobo Hey friend! Honestly, DSA on normal is very easy for any CP160+ endgame build. If you have a few decent complementary sets, you'll be fine.
Personally, I was running a MagPlar HA Oakensoul build for ease of grinding, but that's one of a few dozen builds that could easily handle nDSA. If you have a self heal and good resource management you can take your time and clear the entire arena very easily.

for exp you can stack group exp on top with the marriage ring of mara as well
You can go to group then press T to leave instance and once both people are out quickly change difficulty to Vet and back to reset the instance, much easier imo.
Thank you for this! I will try this once I have decided to create my second character. I'm glad I bought the game last week. But for now, I'll take my time to explore, do quests, and familiarize myself with the game.

i just love the zombie one, since it's easygoing, and you can just do it without any problems to level up your skills.
With Skyreach you could actually just refresh the instance without leaving the group! Exit the instance, I use the button in the group menu I forget which one, but you can leave it in 3 buttons. Once everyone is out, (ideally just you and one other), change difficulty either up or down depending on whatever you're running, then back again. Voila! Instance reset.
Edit: It appears you explained it for the BRP grind haha. Same thing! Atleast people can know either way.
Alikir took me around 10 hours... starting from 25! I had some training gear and used mostly 100% scrolls. It is very easy though as a confused new player it allowed me to get close to 160 so I could focus on gear instead of constantly needing xp. Now I'm still exploring the world getting skyshards and clearing the maps minus missions/quest. I'll enjoy those last.

Dolmens are used mainly to level JC and get fighters guild xp. Its very boring but they are worth the grind because having a toon with maxed JC can be very lucrative afterwards, multiple toons with maxed JC is literally easy mode gold making but its a very serious grind. Some people will also level to 50 there because having maxed JC on a toon is just more important than getting max level fast.
Imo just do what you enjoy to level up because weather its guild/crafting or skyshards you will need to grind them up, getting 50 is really just the beginning of character progression.

I’m always excited to start a new character/class & change up my play but then I go back to doing the same 3 encounters for like 12-16hrs & it burns me life a moth to a flame.

As someone who just came back after 6 months away and not many hours to begin with.... THIS VID IS PREEM lol. I used to farm at Craglorn - Spellscar on my Templar but completely forgot the name of it... LOL thank you for giving me something to grind out on lunch.
You can also changed the difficult from norm to vet and back, the intense will reset!
At the end you forgot being in a group gives you extra xp and a pledge of Mara also gives more xp to partners
For black rose prison i would go in with a ton of soul gems and repair kits, kill all mobs in round 1 and do all waves of the 2nd round over and over there until you spawn the champion kill the few mobs that spawn with him and once ur done ur ready to die and reset the round 2 from wave 1. if ur having trouble with dying kill a fire atro and stand in it. you can also keep ur companion on you too to lvl them just make sure to remove any healing abilities it may have that might hinder you dying.

Maybe it's different for xbox but in skyreach when I've killed everything, I just click leave instance and then changing it to vet and back to normal does indeed reset it. Ive got 10 toons levelled all of them there plus countless friends that I've ran through it for. You don't need to kick them from group or whatever you said haha
Good video tho, and I tend to do the same, I'll run dolmens and while I do that Ill be queued for a random dungeon grabbing those points for doing the dunguen quest and doing dungeons is a good way to xp too, I'll get to like level 20 or sorta once I'm comfortable with my new toon and then will get the rest of the levels in Sr catacombs.

i tend to use heartland and vampire kiss for solo lvl 1 to lvl 50 in skyreach craft lvl1 gear and it lasts until cp lvl , if you got a companion active that also acts as being in group for xp

Agree with everything but there is a better tactic to play in Black rose prison. The second wave is always played, kills everything except the final boss, one player activates the revive synergy and then both players can be killed. If both players are dead, one can get up instantly through the previously taken synergy and the second wave starts immediately again from the beginning. This is the fastest way to level in Tamriel. 🤙 Very good Vid man 👍

Worth mentioning, power lvling usually sucks cuz you'll have no skill points at the end, even with all the dungeons done. So you'll need to do skyshard hunt and quests too if you want a complete build.
Also worth mentioning (but not that worth using it), you can increase your XP even more, but only a bit, if you have the training trait on weapon while using the Heartland Conqueror set. This set double the trait efficiency of your weapon. That means you can have 18% instead of 9% extra xp from kills.
Also... You can increase it even more (but NOT for new characters) if you use Mora's Whispers mythic set. It gives 15% extra xp on kills. Since it's a mythic iten, you can only use it as a lvl50 160cp character. Not only that, but that passive will only increase with Shalidor's Library, and unfortunatly Shasha lib is NOT account wide. That means new characters will have 0 bonus to it because the have not collected any book yet. You'll have to get some before starting using it.
ALSO.... Another worth knowing but not using, Ring of Mara still exists. It sucks... it takes a whole slot, but gets you 10% extra xp. So if you have a partner, and coin for the pledge of mara, you can go for it.
So if you wanna min/max... or just max in this case... you can make a build with this 3 sets/pieces and get yourself an extra 34% xp on kills. And if you do it right, you'll still have enough dps and survivability for a solo traning build, and bump up you CP.

so i seem to die really fast when grouping the ads, im cp rank 286 on main but im doing it on my secondary who is lvl 30 am i bad, low lvl or do i just not have the right setup
Alikr desert's problem even in a group exp is terrible if your group or character cant get enough damage on the mobs. I find auridon dolmen is be better its just as fast getting to wayshrines and being less players you actually get to hit all the mobs or atleast 75% before of mobs before they drop. When auridon feels packed I go to rivenspire or deshaan.
What if the outfit on your character. I swear i ran into at a quartermaster once. Couldn't find it in outfit station
Correction sir, Craglorn was not part of the game at launch it was the first area added.
Quest that lets you get into the manor full of zombies. Can farm there forever, no more than 2 people, and you can always drop the quest and take it again to get an empty zone. 1-50 in under 3 hours in do gear.

@@-kurai- Head to the Quarantine Serk Wayshrine in Deshaan, a female Dark Elf named Aerona Berendas is going to run up to you with a quest. Once you've done the first couple parts of her quest you will be asked to enter the quarantined area, which is a large circle full of zombies, and has a maximum player count of 2, so if you do it with a friend you won't get anyone else interfering. Run the circle in 3 or 4 pulls, repeat. If you're solo and the other person in there doesn't want to group, just leave the area and then go back in, it creates a new instance. Once you finish the quest you can't go back, so don't finish it until after you're 50. Post 50, there are much better ways to level solo.
I suppose all of this would be useful if you've already reached CP levels, but I wouldn't recomment power leveling if you're sub-Lvl 50. You risk lacking in skill points in the end, which IMHO are the real grind in this game (barring gear). Even more if you enjoy low-level PvP.

When you do the xyz thing to group up at a dolmen, do you get more xp per person or per group? I was told you only get 10% more xp total. Which is great! I was just wondering if you get more xp via each player vs a set amount as a whole group.
the main plus to it is that the more people the more chance you have of getting the do without doing anything, more opportunities for someone in your group to kill an enemy. The more people = the less you have to do

Best gear to wear for power leveling a brand new toon is heartland conquerer and adept rider, full training and 2x druid/trainee. In case anybody was wondering. At least until you get into BRP
I wear Heartland, then either Hunding or Julianos with 2x Torug

For Skyreach you don't need to leave the group, you just need to change the difficulty to vet, then back again to normal. It does work unlike what you said.
Also what i do is ask a friend to lend me an offline character, or i ask a friend to invite me first then i change character and he invites that second char and leaves. This makes me be in a group with another offline char of mine. So I can farm skill levels in both char (one after the other).

@@LuckyGhostESO only works if you are in a group. They changed that you can't reset instance by yourself by changing difficulty. Even solo arenas!
I just tried this on PC NA and yeah it still works. Just toggle the difficulty to reset the instance. I think everyone on PC has always done that and it still works for Sky Reach. Just ask in zone if anyone is going to log off soon and ask them to join your party. They will log off but you'll still be considered to be part of a team. Do your rotations as many times as you want while the other guy is offline. Only problem is if you want to switch alts into the group, you can't.

Bro they just nerfed alikr desert I think. I used to get 100k+ xp in a few circles or less with a scroll and xp clothes but now getting like 5k each pull. Not good

Without assistance, you can run to Craglorn from Bangkorai. With assistance, teleport to a guild member / friend.

How to get to this place to level up
For Black Rose Prison:
2 hours to reach max lvl or less with a high level carry only 2 in group. This usually isn’t free. Services are around 500k-1mil per hour. You can shout looking for BRP carry and usually find someone in busy zones, include your offer as well. Then it’s full afk farming they do everything you just need to tag one enemy between deaths. I have used the same guy, now a friend, to level all my ults this way and I now offer this service myself.
Things to keep in mind:
-heartland conqueror set (doesn’t have to be weapons) training gear along with any other training gear.
No event and only 100% ambrosia can still full level you in 2 hours with full purple training gear and a good carry. He should nuke everything and never die till the round boss.
A BRP carry will usually farm round 2 only. You will need loads of repair kits cause you will die tons. Broken gear looses the training bonus.
Payment is usually after or every half hour
Go in with all weapons unlocked, use your priority weapon and 2 skills from each class tree on your bar till that tree hits tank 42. Then drop it to one skill. You can then fill the bar with weapon skills to lvl that weapon tree even if you aren’t using that weapon. I like to rank every skill from the class and weapon trees till they can be morphed then I swap them out. That way all morphs are unlocked on your character for later. 🎉
