I dont like how much of the builds advertised as nondlc have dlc gear in them.
@@SalviBeast3Gaming its gear you can obtain at guild traders without owning any DLC. so you get DLC levels of power, without having to buy the dlc. cheers!

Lucky Ghost probably made this video mainly with those players in mind, who have rolled a Dragonknight with the intention of playing the Necrom DLC (which was the last new DLC 1 year ago, when he made & uploaded the video). - Also, he - Lucky Ghost (y'know, out host! 😉) - does have many, much more extensive video guides, including ones about everything related to the Dragonknight class.

I put Relequen on the body and use Zaan as a monster set.
I use Eruption instead of Deadly Cloak and Rapid strikes from dual Wield as spammable.
For the champion Points.

This build still hits! I just started over on eso recently for pc and I just solo’d MA with my eyes closed. However, the maelstrom wep set buffs have changed. They are still good though!
Sweet, great build, just went to the written guide for the specifics, I’ve always been primarily a PVP player but to get a lot of the gear I need for PVP requires me to grind vet dungeons and solo arenas, this will certainly start me off solid, will be heck of a lot better than what I’ve been doing which is simply running my heavy armour with two medium piece PVP gear as a dungeon dps 😂 I appreciate you posting this build.
This was the build I chose to follow when I got back into this game like a month ago. I am now cp 180😂. DK on top. I’m glad I didn’t make a choice that was in danger of nerf.

Seems to be duel wielding and two handed your two handed being an arena weapon
It's been months since I switched to this build, and I'm loving it!
I still haven't receive the Mailstrom Arena Two handed sword after running it over & over & over & over & over!!!!
I love being able to Solo Dungeons, and I'm still just using the PVE gear!
Once I get the sword, I'll switch to Pillar of Nirn and start acquiring the Relequen armor set!
The only set back I seem to have is playing as a Nord(a must!), so I do tend to run dry of resources after a long battle.
Hoping the updated gear will help!
I'll definitely be looking for a new video after the scribbing system has been released.
I'm sure it'll change everything, but I'll be curious how to finely toon this build even further!
Im building a baby Dragonknight & have been really enjoying the whip so its great to see a build where it is a main attack. I noticed an error on your written guide page while looking through the gear. The Venomous Smite set is marked as dropping from Unhallowed Grave dungeon on your guide, but it's actually an overland set that comes from the DLC Wrothgar zone. Just thought I would point that out to you, so you can make sure it's accurate for people to refer to! Thanks for the guide!
Wow, it's illuminating and disheartening to know how I've been misusing my Dragonknight's abilities until now. Until recently, I was spamming the DoT powers before their timers ran out, and was using things like Executioner and Cleave as spammables. And it wasn't until recently that I discovered just how good Molten Whip was. Thanks: as much as I hate that I am now going to have to re-learn my rotation, this was highly illuminating.
Yea I kinda did that too. You can set the timers in settings to show you when to use them

Ty mate did vateshran at 154 cp with your build even without ring of pale order. Although i replaced those traps for molten armaments, definetely recomend it
I want to try this build but there are so many situations where melee DPS is at a disadvantage. Like fighting dragons. What do you do when the enemy has a lot of PBAoE? If you run away you can't do any damage at all, if you stay in the death field you might get killed. Selectively swap out for a bow or what?

I've been using pillar of nirn + venomous + the Maelstrom sword on the back bar but i use the Slimecraw light helm for a bit more crit cuz I mainly play in groups ,and the build does amazing ,you don't need to worry about having a healer in group ,and does amazing dps .

if you don't want to wear maelstrom, just wear the same set on the backbar that you are wearing on the front bar :)

So on the beginner sets, the written guide only shows 4 pieces of Orders wrath (if you have ROPO). Is it best that way or should i replace the shoulder monster piece with OW? Im still working on getting Pillar and just seeing what you think

I'm running Rune Carver's Blaze with Relequens with harpooners kilt and 1 piec slimecraw. It hits so hard. I guess you could set it up for mag or Stam run rune carver's on body if you want to be a mag dk or run Relequens on body for stam. Check this build-out let me know what you think. Ps Relequens procs the other set runecarvers and when you use this on a dk you have plenty of other dots for the set. I am only pulling 98k off the 21 Mill test dummy with this setup I probably could be doing better if I tested more

I would probably place this right above the frost warden, for solo stamdk is tough to beat!

Hey lucky ghost, just wanted to ask how you got a smaller skillbar then usual? Did you just use the over all hud scale or did you use a addon? BanditUI doesnt change skillbar 😅

I dont dps, but wanted to make a dps build. For these armour what weight is recommended? Light, medium or heavy?

Do you run health glyphs or something? I'm stuck at 18.3k and it just isn't quite enough for me. All stam glyphs on the body.
That's about right if you don't have the undaunted passives ,use sugar skulls food if you feel like you want more HP . But if you use your carve consistently,that's a 6k shield plus with all the recovery you have 18k hp isn't bad .
What do you mean by set on the front bar? I can't wear two different sets at the same time...
in your written guide you say slimecraw and nirn with Coral Riptide but in video guide. I dont have Coral but I do have Relequen non perfected gold set as well as a Venomous Smite Gold set. Which should I use the Venomous or the Relequen with the gold nirn set? Also still use slime craw still? as I also have that in gold but also have the others.
Use the Slimecraw in groups for more crit ,more dps ,use magma incarnate when playing solo for more recovery ,and the best combo is relequen body + nirn jewelry and daggers+ monster helm + PO and perfected Maelstrom great sword on backbar

Ring of the Pale Order was the first item I got from any of these builds videos. Had to beg someone to make me Order’s Wrath. Love the video but I would not agree that it’s inherently easy to obtain.
its a 3 trait set, so you can craft it yourself after a couple days or you can grab it at any guild trader for next to nothing (in green, or blue). its sold everywhere cus its very popular. very easy to obtain :)
@@LuckyGhostESO hey man you’re talking to a brand new player. I would only slightly disagree that it’s not as easy as you’re saying it is. However, for anyone reading this, I would take the word of a veteran over mine. Love your videos Lucky
@@TheRealChacorta once you learn how this stuff works it definitely becomes easier. Definitely make sure to break all gear down, try to get enough skill points to get more materials and use the skill reset shrine to increase crafting when you go to actually make the item.
Every time you get off go and make sure you’re researching skills and investing points into those.
Also doing daily writs is helpful once you get to level 50 in crafting
@@TheRealChacorta I mean you can't get ANY max level gear until you're CP160. But on that day you should already be able to craft Order's Wrath easily.

Hey I was wondering why the Maelstrom Arena 2H sword when the set bonus is 2 pieces? Does it just have a 1 piece set bonus that I’m not seeing on the website? Bc if not then couldn’t I just run the Pillar of Nirn 2H Sword on my backbar to be able to run a 2pc monster set?
2h weapon counts as two pieces.

Weapons in my supposed to use because when I look at the written guy that says daggers on the front bar and a greatsword on the back bar but on the video it shows just a greatsword so am I supposed to use 2 greatswords

they are ok for magdk, but not quite as good as say high elf, dark elf, or breton
