The problem is the 500 i I'm fed up hearing the hype about it as my favourite is husky but the 500i will run same size bar with little less performance and its so much lighter than both I own a 365 husky and a 395xp husky but at work we run stihl 500i and 362 and I would pick a 500i for everyday big wood use so much easier on the body
Preciate y'all! Both are good saws. Keep the chains sharp, the filter clean and use good quality fuel and oil. I've got my good ol' Husqvarna 357XP with usual Oregon Prolite sword setup. A sharp beast. I worked with the 661 for the big ones, too. The heavy ironpig. Had the new and "featherlight" Stihl 500i for the "pro racing cuts", too. A beast :-) For Pro use in general? Think at the maintenance service circles and take a individual fitting saw product. I hope i could help any guys out there. Greets
Watch the skill of the Husky guy. He properly used the bucking spikes to roll the cuts to achieve better leverage fulcrum in the cuts. But you all knew that.
Need same chains. The stihl was dull. Pro's don't use chains that dull. See the dust coming out of it instead of chips? Pro's also use hearing protection.
I’ll bring my 661 Stihl and wear his as out Stihl is a better saw 33years here ran them all but not knocking the husky I think a lot has to do with comfort and feel but I prefer the Stihl the husky’s seems to need more maintenance as far as loose bolts breaking the chain tensioner on them side covers I’ve even had a few split the muffler to the head due to vibration
Husqvarna always been a fast ass saw. Always used Stihl until I worked on a crew that had Stihl and Husqvarnas. Everyone always fight over the few Husqvarnas. I got one a few times. I became one that would fight for a husqvarna after about 4 or 5 times using them. They cut fast as hell
@t w I'm voicing my opinion and my experience with the two saw brands. I don't care about your's either. But, if I wanted any lip from you, I'd pick it off your uncle's zipper bitch.
Both saws are pretty much equal stock. A properly sharpened chain will add more speed to your cuts than porting or compression mods. That said, I’m a Husqvarna man all the way.
I'm guessing they were using the Stihl to log that tree and his buddy just so happened to pull out his Husky with a brand new chain telling him that he'd beat him to the cut... Redue the run with a new chain on the Stihl for a real comparison.
Both companies are good. They both have their pluses and minuses. I will say that the worst saw I have ever owned was a husqvarna 460. It never started or ran properly from day one even the saw shop couldn't sort it out. I finally just gave it away as spare parts to another guy after 1 year. I am pretty sure that my next one will be an echo CS-590 just because I have heard great things about them. I have had about 25 saws over the years and I have never tried an echo.
that stihl is spitting flour not shavings, they need new chains on both then go. Guessing the husky would win by a fraction considering it is a few cc larger 661
If you have ever put a guy who’s only run Stihl on a Husqvarna they will make sawdust too. Stihl operators always seem to think you have to run the saw on the limiter the whole time while the Husky has the torque to let the chain eat.
The husky better win it’s almost 5 cc bigger than the Stihl and a pound heavier! But with that being sed I will take on any 395 with my 661. With a little work these saw can flat out cut threw any wood and fast! Both are great saws it’s crazy how handicap saws are stock! Cool video but need to scrub that chain would have made a big difference!
Husky and stihl are equal in my book. In this test though, the sawyers skill (and weight, mind) may play a part. The husky weighs a bit more, and the saws could be unequally sharpened, but my money would still be on the stihl🤷🏼♂️
Both saws are animals. Both can pull better and larger chain/bar than what's shown here. I have a 394 and my buddy has a 661. I've run both enough to say in these types of comparisons, the only real separation is which chain is sharper and is the 394/395 tuned properly. (His 661 is mtronic). I will say however that they make power differently. The 394 is more torquey and doesn't rev like the 661. So in self feed with the same chain the 661 will win every time. But, you get the dogs in and/or have a slightly duller chain and the 394/395 will pull ahead. That said, overall production they match each other close enough to where the chain will make far more difference than the brand. Both saws are fucking animals.
Everyone knows stihl doesn’t have the rpm of the husky. And that’s the difference between the two. Dem sweedens are the best to ever build a saw. Stihl is a homeowner saw. Doing professional work or everyday hard wood work. Get any xp and handle business. Love dem husky’s
Saws that size for a long day of work, the least amount of movement is easier on the operator. The guy on the stihl probably does more limbing and went to help cut the main trunk. Looks like they both did a good job cutting
I myself use both saws almost on a daily basis and have got to say 100% without a doubt that the 395 just blows the 660 out the water and I am a stihl man through n through but I got to go with the power is and the 395 has f****** power
Is what I don't understand as I thought this was a debate on these particular saws the 395 and the 661. Now with that being said anybody who uses the saws on a daily basis has the opportunity to and would choose the 660 over the 395 is purely just being stubborn and refusing to accept I go with facts I'm a climber and when I'm in the tree busting down big wood I retired the 660 I tried the 500 it's the 395 is my go-to every time it is the only Husqvarna I have on the team
Husky weighs a full pound more and then some. If you don't think that matters, you don't cut a lot of wood.
3+cc of displacement more too and that is a big difference
I use a 395xp on skids 8 hours everyday with 1 hour break, many people here in nz can handle big saws in logging
@@bucketheadrox 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
I own them both 51 years old and I’ll take the Stihl every time
The problem is the 500 i I'm fed up hearing the hype about it as my favourite is husky but the 500i will run same size bar with little less performance and its so much lighter than both I own a 365 husky and a 395xp husky but at work we run stihl 500i and 362 and I would pick a 500i for everyday big wood use so much easier on the body
I love and own both husky and stihl. The stihl chain needs sharpened.
What I thought too, more fines than chips from the stihl. I have husqvarna and stihl saws. I like them booth.
That stihl looked fine
Preciate y'all!

Don’t forget the chaps
Dust is correct💪. See so many of these VS.
Look at the wood chip size difference, I think if you want to really test them, you at least need fresh chains.
Gypsy Nichols exactly
Gypsy Nichols what I was about to comment
Look at the back ,after cutting the whole tree it does not cut 2 bad ... 1 of the fellas have more experiance cutting with chainsaw 😉 IMO 🤙
Test must be...... SIMILAR CHAIN TYPE, SIMILAR BAR LENGHT/TYPE 🤔
Team husky 395 xp best ever...like👇
Husqvarna wins everytime!! I cut trees for over 15 years and have had both and I'll take husqvarna over stihl any day!
That 661 is spitting pure dust
Stihl is a badass! Ive cleared trees with a buddy when he was building his house. And we tried all different makes.
Both are very good saws. I have both . I just like the husky best.
Stihl got a huge head start and Stihl couldn’t hang with the Husky.
This is more intense than most action anime.
Es una chingoneria lausbarna

La stihl siempre mi favorita lo mejor en maderas duras no se para como las otras

The stihl is shooting straight dust! Sharpen the chain!
Lol so true 😂
Super videó.
Köszönöm szépen
Minden elismerésem a munkásoké. 😊🤗
very good saws,but i love 661cm
That Husky operator is a badass
Both need new chains. Dust coming out not chips
They both have power and both chains are dull. The 661 chain is gone
Yup
STIHL
that stihl is spitting flour not shavings, they need new chains on both then go. Guessing the husky would win by a fraction considering it is a few cc larger 661

Now that's what I'm talking about,go on with your bad selves, love it ❤️❤️ super nice 👍👍👍👌 cutting.
Both are great saws
Tenho uma husquvarna 395 muito boa excelente
Falo porque eu já mexo com umas peças da Stihl e vejo que se tiver uma manutenção boa a durabilidade é bem maior!!!!
It’s all in the filing!😮

That's why people can't tell me nothing about Sthil Echo Husqvarna and Shindawa there are the best, and elite tools.

Melhor marca do mundo sthill.
They are both dam good saws put a new skip tooth FC chain on both. Then run em. Not into cutting firewood for speed.
수고 가 많습니다🍒
중공발 우한 폐렴 조심하시고
안 전 제 일 !
몸 건강들 하셔요 👍
Awe, you drew pictures! Nice
The un winnable debate! Still, I’m happy keeping Stihl IN the tree and Husky ON the ground. That’s just me…
It's less to do with the saw, and moreso the blade.
Maintenance is important!
395 is always going to kick the crap out of anything that comes up with
Dull ass chain on the stihl vs sharp on husky
That husky seemed to have a very sharp chain, as it looked to be pulling much more than the stihl.
Helen Keller could sharpen a chain better than what’s on the Stihl.
Let me go over that chain my 680 runs through rounds in half the time
Super Nice cutting😄😄😄👍
Stihl chain looked a bit dull. Also, the sawyer didn’t stay on the dogs in the last 1/2 of the cut…
Depende de las cadena si estan afilada parejas o con rebaje de guia y manejo de la sierra.
Mite need sharpen realy. Neds somebody that can use it. He cant
Keren bos
Sweet sawdust makers.
Guy using Husky was a better saw operator.....
Saws that size for a long day of work, the least amount of movement is easier on the operator. The guy on the stihl probably does more limbing and went to help cut the main trunk. Looks like they both did a good job cutting
I agreed
O operador tbm conta ✌🏽😎
Still👍👍salam dri Indonesia 🇮🇩
All the Stihl fans crying that the Stihl chain wasn’t sharp... they’re both dull as hell lol
Husqvarna legend 💪🔥
Tbh echo is so underrated. The echo may even be good enough to compete against these two brands
😂🤣😂🤣😂
I literally spitted my coffee. What a nice joke :)
I myself use both saws almost on a daily basis and have got to say 100% without a doubt that the 395 just blows the 660 out the water and I am a stihl man through n through but I got to go with the power is and the 395 has f****** power
Both saws need sharp full chisel skip tooth chains. Both saws were clearly dull. And making powder instead of chips.
To me husky is backwards. Need to remove clutch on 395 to change sprocket. Plus a bunch of odd stuff
I LOVE YOU STHIL😍
I LOVE YOU HUSQVARNA😍
prbns p video👍🇧🇷
Husqvarna 4.9kw stihl 5.2kw ..husqvarna rpm em carga mais forte..
I think depth gauge on the husky was lower and maybe a sharper chain
Is what I don't understand as I thought this was a debate on these particular saws the 395 and the 661. A bad investment in that Stihl 661, I regret buying it🤦
Poor stihl was putting out saw dust instead of saw chips at the end there
It looked more like young man versus old man ha ha
Две бензопилки 👍👍💯.
Штиль❤️🥴
Aia de 20 nu va fi niciodată mai frumoasă și mai atrăgătoare decât cea de 30+
The tec the husky man used is best but the stihl user needs to sharpen that chain
Boy I like a Stihl I’ve abused mine like crazy and still kicking
360 хузварна точно пилит быстрей штиля 361. А если цепь тупая, или поршнивая мёртвая то происходит так.
He is sthil cutting lol I own both as well both good saws the chain needs to be sharpened on the sthil ...
Dont complain after the the weather is crazy.
Sounds like a swarm of bees
Up to 50cm logs husky all day over 50cm stihl is Winner.

Trabajando con la parte de atrás es forzar la máquina y corta más lento
Saw doesn't matter. How sharp the cain is and the operator
H 395 cea mai bună drujbă care sa făcut vreodată!
Y se sienten tan orgullosos los mala sombras estos
Who has the dullest chain round 1

Forța Husqvarna, forța Sweden
Should be sharp chain vs dull chain. Haha
