I’m annoyed!! Yesterday and today I was working on a Kahoot! to go with this. I go to copy and paste the play link and they’ve changed the format fir the quiz I can produce! I don’t get it. It’s one headache after another with kahoot. I fear they will lose my paid membership this year...
So it will be another set of paper exercises fir now. I’ll do that tomorrow, and add the whole thing to the website. Wish it would work like it used to. 😡🥺😩😢😞😤
A lot of emojis... a lot of upset and general fuming about this today. I had to walk away from my computer and do something else instead!

So... I find making a Kahoot such a time-sucking process, I kind of avoid it. I managed to get the Kahoot up. Turns out I needed to click an extra button to get it where I want it to be. It still identifies me as the owner, top right, but someone arriving there from the weblink can't access my account. So I guess that's alright.
Anyway, the Kahoot will help as well. And I will make that paper exercise set too, so you'll be all set for now on this.
There's more to add, but for now, this will get people going. I really want to do percentages...

I think a big part of why so many of us struggle with this is because it's always printed in tiny black type! Yes! It really DOES make a difference!!! And when you think of it the way I'm showing you, it's totally manageable! You zone in on the important stuff and you know what to do now, don't you?

I LIKE doing math now. I used to avoid it like crazy. But now when I look at a problem I view it differently, as in 'what are the pitfalls people can encounter? How can I help them to avoid those?' That's why I like math, cos I want to help people feel successful. I get a great amount of enjoyment, hearing how someone overcame a difficulty and aced their homework/test/exam.
