The Jefferson Nickel has been around since 1938 and it is popular with collectors. There are many varieties to find and the nickel today is one I have had for many years and I have decided to discuss it now. A 2015 p Jefferson Nickel with a die clash on the reverse from the obverse is an interesting find that I want to show. It is Jefferson's EYE that is the clash from the obverse. It is a small area but still interesting. Hopefully it will spark some interest. I tried to find more info on this variety. I did find one video on something similar to it, but I was able to pull it up again. Anyway hopefully it will spark some interest to find this variety. I did not find any values for this variety. Hi James! Thanks for viewing the video. I only wish the eye on the reverse was larger than it is to be more obvious to collectors.
I could see the line across Jefferson's nose, but not next to his eye. I find it amazing how they can stamp a pupil into the coin's image and make it look so real. It's pretty fascinating how detailed a coin is.

The 2015 p is the only example I have in my collection.
