- During the summer of 2020, we purchased a 4-night package from Getaway. We stayed two of those nights towards the end of the summer in 2020 and still had 2 nights left to use before the end of August 2022. So we decided to head back out to Beaver Creek in Ohio and use our last two nights. This time, we kind of knew what we were getting into and ended up having a lot of fun during our stay. About Us:
We have been married since 2009 and reside near Pittsburgh, PA. Even before we were married, we loved planning trips and traveling to cool destinations. It has now become our passion and we love diving into new foreign cultures, food, and attractions. We started making home DVDs for our own keepsake many years ago. It was a great way to preserve memories and re-live those memories whenever we wanted. We eventually found that uploaded these videos to CZcams made a lot of sense. We could share them with family and friends across the country in real time, on smart TVs, Ipads, and smart phones. That eventually led to us creating the “Matt n Rach” CZcams Channel. Our focus now is not only to preserve our memories, but to include educational and useful information for our viewers as well.

I was there in the fall of 2022. Loved it!
My wife and I stayed here a couple of times during/after the lockdown with another couple (who got their own cabin) and it was a nice quiet spot with some small towns nearby with some nice little breweries/wineries to hang out at during the day. It rained when we were there too but we packed a canopy tent to put over the picnic table. It didn't seem like as much of a destination and much as an escape. Getaway also has cabins close to Hocking Hills (nearer to Columbus) that we're considering.

@jumblemess it was really nice and cozy! The cabins are perfect for 2 people, I'd suggest bringing your own food and firewood but the bundles they have are around 5$ for a few logs and they last a session (they're usually stored next to the cabin in a weather proof box)
There is usually basic indoor cooking things already provided inside the cabin (mixing bowls, small pot, small pan, plates , and cutting board)
I'm gonna go back in july!

Trying to go between Nov-December , don’t know if is gonna be too cold or not sure if they will close
If it’s the same location we went to it’s hit or miss with the weather. I’d check their website to see about booking nights during that time period. I’d imagine they would still be open.
They are open as I just booked a weekend for the wife and I in December 🎉
Can kids bring their bikes and bike on the trails?
Sure I don’t see why not.
