Currently suffering its worst start to the season in 32 years, soccer club Arsenal needs to strengthen every part of its team to compete at the highest level, according to Russian billionaire and leading shareholder Alisher Usmanov.
The London-based club lost to rivals Manchester United over the weekend with manager Arsene Wenger calling his own team "defensively naive." Arsenal now sit in eighth-place in the English Premier League and have won just one trophy since 2005.

Its really simple......Arsenal fans need to stop going to the home games....make an effort to not go and stay home and watch the game from the comfort of your own homes...when they see they're losing money then they'll realize and have no choice but to sell to Usmenov, THEN we can hope for the best but first rule of business is hit them where it hurts, in their wallets

We spent around 460m on transfers since 2007/08 and Tottenham have spent 600m. We have around 138m in cash reserves. Everyone needs to understand we paid of a stadium debt for decade by selling our best players and using a lot of our annual profits to pay off the stadium. Why not just buy another team and turn them into an elite club? He'll save billions from buying somebody else because they won't be as valuable as Arsenal. He could then use the rest of that 1 billion he's willing to spend on transfers and wages for new players.
