I have a question, in the sentence Cuando Ana era niña, ella era alta, era delgada y tímida why do we use era with delgada if the translation is just thin instead of was thin?
It can be either translation! In Spanish they sometimes put the was and sometimes they don’t, just as in English. It means the same thing, just emphasizing how we use ERA in this case.
