I have been enjoying munchingorange let's play of his moded switch yokai watch 4++ English patch. It have the whole story parts translated. Ooo hope we get a demo for Fantasy life I. Oh ya that police game they are having I kind of forgot about the game. Going be a fun sunmer.

Praying they re-release yokai watch 3 for switch because it had a small physical copy print and you could get it digitally on ds. But not anymore! So physical copys are casually $1000

Yeah! Like, what is Level-5 thinking? If they released a localized version alongside Pokémon that and the Switch effect would make it a big sucess.
This and DECAPOLICE have been in my wishlist for a LONG time. I’m more than willing to wait a bit more.

sad. I really loved the yokai watch games, way better than the pokemon games in the respective years they came... sad we never got YW4 here aside PS4 or something. but well, people with their " this is pokemon wanna be, therefore it means is gonna be bad" ruin some cool games from grow. just look how " icky" they went for Palworld and it had nothing to do with pokemon aside obvious copied designs. XD but also Level 5 literally take years in distribute some cool games, to let the hype die and when they decide release it, is like not interesting anymore.just like Cyber conect did to Solatorobo, for example.
What did they do to sola to roba? I'm a big fan of that game.
We didn't get 4 on any platform. I want it to be localized. I want to play it on my switch.
I always felt the biggest problem with the Yokai Watch game on the 3DS was the game mechanics. It wasn't for me, and i am sure there were a lot of other ppl like that as well.
The other problem is that outside the small group of ppl that play this niche genre they never really promoted the games and the show. Altho i have no idea how good the show was received in the west, it felt like they gave up way to early.
And like i said monster catching genre is a niche, ppl seem to forget that because of Pokémon. Pokémon is the exception because of what it already achieved and how long it has existed.
And with the attention span ppl have nowadays i am not sure a game similar as the Yokai Watch game on the 3DS would do well (but what i saw in this vid actually looked good).

@@jumentoqueanima Because it seems ppl want constant action. They constantly need that dopamine. And a lot of genres don't give that.
And i also feel because of this ppl don't have patient enough to learn weird mechanics that might or might not be fun.
In my eyes it's a few things coming together that impacted this franchise negatively that have led to this state.

News yokai watch game no no
Altho the 3DS game of Yokai Watch wasn't my thing (mainly the game mechanics), i really liked the designs and absolutely loved the comedy aspect of the franchise (unfortunately sometimes it got lost in translation).
I also couldn't really get into the show as well. Normally i really don't have much problem with kids or teens as protag's, but for some reason i really disliked the mc. It's been a while since i seen the show, maybe i might like it now.
Nah, level 5 in yo Kai watch case, are always late. never trust their promise.
