Considering the technical problems and the other issues this game had, maybe it was a blessing in disguise it didn't come out outside of Japan. Although, it's sad to see the last game on the console the franchise began life out went out with such a whimper.
As an italian I thought yo-kai watch was a fairly new series, I found out thanks to your videos that in Japan they came out in 2014

As someone who loves almost every little corner of Yo-Kai Watch 1-3 and Blasters and adores the island theme and Blasters gameplay, I truly wonder how I'd like this game if I had the chance to play it
This video was really good! I've been looking forward to it as one of the few Busters 2 fans. I was not expecting to see my name in the video. But yeah, the English translation isn't too accurate (hopefully I can convince the translation team to start from scratch). I agree with most of your points on the problems with the game (Hopefully modders will someday fix the Clue-T-Fact issue)
Very neat video! I never knew Busters 2 was.. this bad. I'm still gonna check it out because i havent played it yet and it still looks like a fairly neat time! I've been able to enjoy literally every Yo-Kai Watch game, so I'm sure ill have a good time!

Great video. It’s a shame YW Blasters 2 isn’t remembered as favorably as its predecessor or the Blasters T side mode in YW3. It’s also a shame that YWB2 also starts the trend of Yo-Kai Watch games no longer getting localized to the western market. It definitely had potential, but was held back by poor gameplay choices and overall quality.
I haven’t played the game myself since it was never localized and I don’t own a Japanese 3DS. Maybe whenever I get around to trying out 3DS emulation, I’ll look into playing it.

I love yo kai watch and anything they put out, though I see that this installment has many shortcomings. Im still gonna wait for the full english patch tho
Speaking of 4, I literally JUST finished my play thru of it! I’m now ATTEMPTING to get post game. All in all, I think it might be my favorite YW game if it wasn’t in Japanese and I understood the lore better!(when I said speaking of 4 I meant the hint for the plot of the next video)
4's postgame is REALLY fun if you can get into the grind. Thankfully the side quests are pretty straightforward for the most part.

I didn’t even know this game existed, and I’m a huge yokai watch fan.
Being Japan exclusive will do that to a game.
The bugs and glitches I knew about but the limited Clu-T-Facts? That is beyond annoying.
It really is, and I can't figure out why they decided to do that.
I remember when I first played YW Busters 2. Found many bugs but all around nothing that important as an experience. I'm just sad that so many cool yokais were first featured there than in a better game.
I'd like a lot if they made another game of the classic series with the new yokais in it. Would be pretty cool. And 100% better than Blasters 2.
I get those who like this game tho. All of the new yokais here are so cool.

I found this series the other day and tbh, it's been making me want to download citra and try to play YKW3 (is that an acronym people use? idk) since I only watched a playthrough and barley remember that. Either way though, looking forward to any future videos you make!!

I will say, despite every problem with this game, I think the newly introduced Yo-Kai might be the best overall cast of new Yo-Kai in the series. Every single one is a hit for me. But uh… Boogiemum is the only one with a localized name and while it’s good, I wish it was Discorpse.

Despite this game being glitchy mess, I really like the new yo-Kai designs and personalities
This retrospective reminds me times when I was 6 year old and I want to buy 3ds only for yo kai watch games
I think that Busters 2's gameplay changes can be annoying at times, (especially the Clu-T-fact limit when farming for 1% C. Shogunyan) however the new "lore" additions that it brings to the series with the ancient Enma tribe Yokai and the story of Wandering Billy and Banbaraya are very interesting to me for whatever reason. I have this weird attachment to it because of the new story, but I do agree it's overall...not the best game ever.

La verdad es que yo por mucho tiempo deteste el modo blasters T de ykw3, no me agradaba que gran parte de mejorar tu equipo fuera pasar hora y horas en el blasters T, pero cuando descargue ykwblasters2, la verdad es que hasta me sentía mal por como pensaba de blasters T, es un juego muy mal optimizado y hecho a las carreras, pudo ser mucho mejor, lo único que me gusta de este juego son sus pocas piezas de música originales
6/10 como calificación de mi parte, no se ganó su puesto de ser el peor juego de la saga por nada

I can't believe the series is 10 years old now! Shame you had to play Blasters 2 around the anniversary, seeing as it's the worst lol. I do have two questions though: 1) I understand you use Citra to emulate your games but I've looked into it, and don't know how to get the games I want running on it, as Citra doesn't have an online library to browse through as I expected. I'm not sure what to download, and how, to get Yo-Kai Watch titles running on it' would you ever considering making a Citra guide video? 2) will you mention YKW1 for Nintendo Switch in a future video, as it has some positive updates and shows the 3DS games CAN work on Switch; I hope it'll get a mention in your 4 video, which I'm guessing is coming next.
For your first question, I could make a tutorial, but it's not that tough, there's a ton of different sites you could find ROMs from, you just have to make sure they're decrypted .3ds files.
For the second, I'm probably gonna make a video on the Switch version of 1.

sucks that this game was released in such a state. i thought OG blasters was a great game so i thought the sequel might have been better but that seems to not be the case.

Eh. It may be the worst in the series but it’s not the worst thing LEVEL-5 has worked on. Honestly the worst thing they’ve made would probably be AERO PORTER (an eShop exclusive) due to how stressful it is. I’d honestly play Blasters 2 over that. Oh and (because I’m talking about LEVEL-5 games that aren’t the best) why do people hate Inazuma Eleven GO 1 so much?
I get why people don't like GO 1 much, it has some of the worst pacing in the series and it's no doubt the weakest in the series in terms of mechanics. Doesn't help that it followed 3, which was great.
@@Chrominize Ah. I see. But it had my favorite soundtrack in the series and had a pretty cheesy English dub so it has those thing going for it. And I haven’t even played the game, due to the 3DS being region-locked.
By the way, it was very stupid for YW4 to abandon the combat system of the previous three games, which also led to its poor sales. lv5 went in the wrong direction, forgot how it became popular, and did not learn lessons. In the end, YW the series will simply perish

I don't know if you mention this in the video, but fun fact, in one of the randomly generated dungeon rooms, there's a tree that's a background element. If you run into said tree, the game starts to lag to shit.
You can definitely tell they rushed this out. And I'm saying this as a person who beat the game, and nearly got all of the interesting new gacha/treasure/battle characters (except for Yodelson, fuck Yodelson, all my homies hate Yodelson)
Now that i finally understand why the fandom hates this game, i can rightfully say that it still seems fun, & i shall await for the full game to be translated

It’s a massive shame that, as far as I can remember, this is the last time they used the original version of the franchise. From here, the franchise went in a completely different direction that I don’t like nearly as much. It feels far more… generic.

Yokai watch busters 2 doesn't really add anything yet it has so many issues one time in my opinion in the yokai watch series that was a waste of time.
