Well part of the joke is that when he saw him then he’d already been messed up by tsukuyomi so he may have been unconscious, and even if he wasn’t Jiraiya was a total badass then where as here he’s a perverted weirdo.

@@azrael_morningstar No don't get 'em wrong, scaling absolutely matters if it's filler. Especially in this case where they are fighting an Otsutsuki. Otherwise how can it be canon? If they fixed some of the fight scenes up then it would basically be fixed, because there is some very strange choreography in this arc.

The soundtrack and throwbacks are so cute!
A lot of people complained about Sasuke losing his Chakra in this arc. My head Canon is that he used susanoo in that interdemensional space because only an Otsutsuki body could survive it, and the pressure was so high that it drained him.
