I am the "adult" trainer class - the kind who enjoys Pokemon battles for a few months when there are new game releases, but then gets busy with life and then leaves the creatures I've caught confined to small orbs electronically stored in PCs without access to food or water for months on end.
I suspect my trainer class applies to a great many people at this point.

PenumbraVIII It's a reference to an anime called Watamote! It's actually a very interesting series uvu It's mainly because the hex maniacs look a lot like the main character
I'm on the fence on smogon too. Don't really hate them like Verlis, but don't really play by their rules either. It's not really smogon's fault though. Singles are just broken beyond belief gen 5 and onwards and extremely hard to balance. VGC or Battle Spot doubles would be balanced if it weren't for Mega Khan. 1 broken pokemon is much better than, like 10 broken strategies though.

I have a feeling I could also be a Breeder, since I like the actual process of raising Pokemon to be strong a lot more than most people, but that wasn't in this video, so I guess I'll wait until the next one to see. :)

Gonna be honest, I'm a gym leader. Of what gym? Steel type! You cannot kill the Steel Pokemon! The Steel types will live on! Fire types tried to burn the Steel! HAHAHA! They failed as they were struck to the ground! Fighting types tried to break the Steel! Yet Steel smites them all around! Ground attempted to bury Steel... WHAHAHA! But Steel smacked them back down!

SelestialHD If I remember right it's a chance to go first. I have a Fortress that is always sent in first, and has sturdy as it's ability, first move: Toxic spikes. Not to mention the type coverages I can get for steel types. Not gonna lie, all the weaknesses of steel are still very much a threat, I just need the right guy for the job (e.g ferrothorn vs swampert, or a fire type vs Empoleon), and it's actually a lot of fun to have the gym leader handicap. You should try it. Just pick a random type (that isn't dragon because they're not as challenging) and try going up against people. It's a different experience and a lot of fun.
Generally I keep the team like this:
Fortress: with sturdy toxic
Ferrothorn with a rocky helmet ( Thunder, Iron head, Power whip, and explosion)
Aggron (Heavy slam is the only thing I can remember) with a heavy ball
Empoleon: Substitute, Brine, Flash cannon, rest With leftovers (it's a lols)
Skarmory: (don't remember item) Fly, and spikes
Metagross: Quick claw (for the lolsy) meteor mash, hammer arm, physic, and magnet rise.
the type coverage is pretty nice, with a few others like Magnezone and excadrill, Mawile, etc.

Serperior: Usually a staller with leech seed and giga drain, dragon tail and glare for the lols
Cradily: For the flying types, recover rock slide and giga drain
Breloom: technician with mach punch, spore and bullet seed, swords dance. holding a metrenome for fun.
Roserade: hp fire, sludge bomb, giga drain and spikes (with lefties)
Ferrothorn: iron head, power whip, explosion and thunder wave (with a normal gem)
Ludicolo: surf, giga drain, rain dance, teeter dance (to be a dick) lol.
I don't think I'll win, with this team, but I have good weather team ideas, just not on me since I forgot to bring my team books with me to college T_T
Kinda wish there was a gym leader thing that would be created and people battle us on showdown for their badges.

I'd classify myself as an Ace Trainer. I love competitive play. However, I love putting weird Pokemon in competitive play and just throw people off.
Dude, I'm just like you, in my UU team, I have , I think 3 or 4 UU pokes and run a weird set on my others
Chris Torres I've used Skuntank, Hitmonchan, and Roserade on OU teams. It's really fun. Smogon tiering gets really questionable at times

Team, I use off course Mega Blastiose, Donphan, (idk bout the spelling) Noivern, Electivire, Bronzong, and Magmortar,
Idk how Bronzong, Electivire, and Magmortar are in their tiers, they all should be up one tier for me, Bronzong has nice defenses, and Magmortar, I honestly like using fire spin, to trap opponents, (very fun and uncommon to use fire spin) and Electivire has a nice move pool, ice and thunder punch, I use brick break, rockslide on him. I really make ppl in OU forfeit, but obviously I win and loose some In both OU and UU matches
Chris Torres Assault Vest is by far one of the best items on all of Pokemon. I put it on Hitmonchan and Roserade and they can eat up a ton of hits. Plus I use a Snorlax that can wreck a Mega Charizard Y. A Fire Blast in the sun does like 25% to a Special Defensive Snorlax.
Roserade with Assault Vest? I have only seen choiced ones, but that sounds pretty nice, decent speed, nice sp.attk and nice sp.def now
I use it on my Magmortar, 252+sp.def and split half into HP and Sp.Attk. That's why I have fire spin, and plus besides it's 85% accuracy, it's different and I say fuck that, I can play and be creative as much as I want and play competitively. He's my Sp.wall, and my I put my Bronzong with Levitate so I can put him in to stop EQs, and although I have Noivern, I need him to make the hits, not take em

I first started with Gen 4, and really liked the Ace Trainers. They've been my favourite trainer class since then (second is Rangers, I guess)

I'm a Rogue/Ace Trainer
After kicking Birch's traumatized ass out of Littleroot, I would become Professor of the Hoenn region. Specializing in evolution, I would have a Jolteon as my ace, along with all the starters and a Mega Mawile.
I would also kick May's ass out along with her father, and make room for a better looking protagonist such as Dawn or Hilda.

I think I might replay Light Platinum with only Bug Type, then when I beat the game, I can pretend to be a Elite Four Bug Trainer. Bug Type might be weak, with a few exceptions, but it's my favourite type.
Why Light Platinum?
EverlstingAura Because it's my favourite Pokemon Hack and plus it has a bunch of Bug Type I can choose from. Not to mention how difficult the hack is, makes it more challenging to beat using only Bug. I love challenges in games after all.

Yup, Grass type Gym Leader here... I freaking love designing teams for all skill levels and then go for a dangerous team for number 8. Though I may be a leader I am not at my gym, but going around and researching grass types.
Really enjoyed this. Ever since a little kid, I've always identified with Sabrina from the anime and it is also why Alakazam was my favorite too. Him and I would overcome any power before us in the game. I didn't need any friends.
Also, I like Lugia a lot too. I identify with psychic class!

I wouldn't class them as either cool or uncool.
Closer to cheaters - losers in other words - than anything really. They basically stack the deck so they can win in a game they otherwise suck at and obviously shouldn't be playing since they can't deal.
That would be just as fun as winning at blackjack by banning all non face and ace cards because they make it hard to get a blackjack.
Makes it boring by limiting what people can use.
What they should be doing is making a system that forces diversity so that players can better themselves by winning with things they would otherwise think they can't.
That's what makes the PokéBattle sim better.
You can actually see different Pokémon enough to not get bored with other people's teams.

I think some bans are pretty stupid..like Blaziken with his secret ability. Wow he gains 1/4 speed per round. He is still not the fastest at the beginning (I have a Zoroark that's 15 Level lower than him and is faster )

cyclist is exactly me, not really in appearance, but I do often just throw out the ones with big stats, and go for straight up right away damage, and try less of the clever crafty strats.

I'm definitely in the Ace Trainer class. I tend to be rather competitive and I try to make a balanced, powerful team. Breeder would also fit me well as I do enjoy breeding Pokémon. There's just something I really love about being the first thing my Pokémon see and raising them from birth to level 100 (I don't just breed for natures, etc.). Gym Leader is something I hope to achieve with the Poison team I'm training for my Super Secret Base/Gym in Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire. Of course, I've gained the title of Champion (in every region except Hoenn...yet). Finally, I've actually trained a team of level 100 Magikarp to try to beat the Kalosian Elite Four (stupid Wikstrom and having high defenses), so I could be called a Fisherman (though my 'Karp were bred, not fished).
