Travel from Vietnam to Cambodia by bus - Ho chi minh to Phnom penh via Moc bai border gate

Hi everyone, on this journey very excitingly I am traveling from Ho Chi Minh, Vietnam to Phnom Penh, Cambodia by sleeping bus and crossed the border via Moc bai and Bavet border gate. If you wonder how to travel to Cambodia from Vietnam, I include the Vietnam - Cambodia bus information and the process at the border gate in the video. Once you arrive at the border, you will need to present your passport and other necessary documents to the border officials. After your documents have been checked and approved, you will be allowed to cross the border and enter Cambodia. At the borders on both side of Vietnam and Cambodia, all the passengers need to get off and on the bus. They don't allow passenger staying on the bus while passing the borders.

Thanks for the video. Do do you know please for sure about which is the last allowed day of the cambodia visa extensions if extension says expiry date 2 august ? Meaning 2 august isn’t an overstay yes?

Thanks for the nice video on sleeper bus from HoChiMihn city to PhnomPrnh. How much was the fare? What is the total travel time including passport check at MocBai border? Do you have enough time to sleep comfortsbly on the bus?

Hi Jack, the fare is $22. Total traveling time is 7 hours. I think you can sleep better with the traveling pillow. Safe travel!

I used Danh Danh Express Bus. You can get the ticket at the station, but I recommend to book in advance.
