Man, I really love these style of PAC maps with Cursor. There are a lot of ways to approach this as problem-solving and targeting specific points in order to push back against AC that doesn't just turn into a gigantic slog. This one looks great, and I'm definitely gonna have ta go check it out now.
I only made like 3-5 maps on that style but yeah looking at the amount of upvotes people LOVE these kinda maps.
I played this map a while back, didn't notice that you started with creep outside the prison corner, spent a VERY long time on the map because by the time I got out of the corner the entire map was flooded with anti-creeper and defensive turrets.
Tbf it looks more to me like the Cursor is so powerful it removes the strategy. Look at how it was used, to just overpower everything and break the ai.
@@lokyar2075 Yup that's why I hate these kinda maps when executed like that. Play my cursor maps instead they're actually good and actually have strategy

Yeah, it was for their red matter bomb Easter eggs, to show that they weren't hollow- solid chocolate all the way through.

Have you thought about playing that Shadows of Doubt game? The fully proceedural invetigation game. Saw Lolip was playing it and thought it would work pretty good as a Tom style series. Lydia has played it ages ago too(with lewis and again with Sips) during Jingle Jam when they got a beta version, can maybe play it with her and get her back on this channel. The complexity and length of a "story" can be adjusted and stuff I think so you can make sure it won't go on too long.
I like the map. Using the creep absorbing material really helps add complexity.

I definitely played this map a long time ago and didn't have the cursor power. I don't know if the map has changed, or if I just didn't know about cursor generation, but it was a real slog.
cursor continues to be overpowered as hell lol
I remember playing this bizzare map, the prison being completely irrelevant and the cursor is so strong you can basically beeline for the riftlab
I think I already saw this map played. It might even have been Tom. But then I watched a few Creeper World CZcamsrs.

Pretty sure this is a remake of an old map, and in the original you couldn't place creep structures.
There's a reason the game is called Creeper World, and not Anticreep world.
i feel like this map would have been better if they DIDN'T give you the option to make creep emitters.... the idea being that you cant make emitters and have to rely on the only one on the map, and other things like blobs or spores for targeting specific areas would have made it more interesting.

I honestly hated trying to play this map, way too many of those absorbing creep tiles and way too much AC for my liking.
is it me, or is the game sound very clippy today? Explosions sound hella distorted
I seriously despise this game. I watch every video of it though, I do enjoy listening to Tom talk bollocks but thats not why I watch it. Why do I do this to myself? I know what some of you are thinking "Just dont watch it, scroll on..." unfortunately this is not an option. When I browsing through Toms videos to fins that random game he played 2 years ago I see that there is an unwatched video. Then I start to twitch. Then all I can think about is that unwatched video and the fact that Toms channel is 100% complete. I have a problem, i know. The wierd thing about it is I also feel the need to fucking like the video even though I hated it!!!
