The transition from "oh no, I capped on eggs" to "oh wow, I'm capped out on eggs" was peak egg wars.
this map is interestingly broken, in that you can pick up rocks that you’ve dropped and delete them, which adds them back to your rock supply, as such you can wipe the map with just rocks in a fairly short time
I've seen this said about many maps since the first LPAC map was released, but have never been able to do it myself. I figured it was related to something in the client that was patched before I started playing. How are you supposed to delete the rocks? Shift-X doesn't work, and the rocks don't have a delete button.
@@YamiOni it’s really easy on this map for some reason, you can see in the video that any unit that has been destroyed by a rock will have a rock placed at it’s location after it’s destroyed. This rock stays for a few seconds before despawning, which is the one you click and delete

@@DrakenAshen For each of his videos, you can view the top right corner of the screen above the timer for the map name. In this case, it's 'Sleepy Creepy'.
Tom on some lpac games you can click on the eggs to get them to pop. And by this I mean the eggs produced by the spore launcher. Guess I should have finished the video as he figured it out by himself by the end.
Further proof that Tom likes egging from behind.
that spore-egg combo was powerful. ruthless, some might say. i'd love to see a mega-skimmer build though

Love the play as creep videos, especially when it's constantly rebuilding and needs strategy. A lot of maps just have "static" defense and seem too easy.
Edit, it was indeed one of the "static" maps but at least it was a challenge map xD
So enjoyable to hear Tom experience popping eggs manually for the first time!
This video needs to be added to the creeper world playlist.

Uses upgrades, which resets timer, blobs never come out at all.
I appreciate that your intro is rock, instead of some obnoxious hiphop or techno/synth/dubstep like a lot of channels are in the modern day.
Check out The Atomic Bitchwax if you haven't heard of them. Little known band that do a good genuine rock and roll sound. Smokescreen, The Formula, Kiss the Sun, You Got it and Scorpio are good tracks to get a feel for them. They've also done a few good AC/DC covers.
Skimmers are really powerful because they can't really be stopped. Even if you snipe them, they can still stun units. So what I'm saying is you should have turbo boosted those skimmer factories
I like how they didn't cover the map with missiles so that spore were actually useful in a bunch if places
I love the creeper world 4 videos, the mods are incredible. I'd like to see a new fps map

Imagine a spore launcher that shoots all the spots into one location. That could be very useful as it could produce lots of creep in strategic locations.

Imagine having an actual military like soldiers instead of turrets. Just imagine this but with modern weapons. Wait….because creep is a bunch of nano-life (basically single celled), wouldn’t fire burn them insanely fast and consequently destroy all the connected creep? They are basically quick burning fuel like a fire starter so they should burn insanely fast.
Maybe it's cause I don't know if the full details of how this mode works, but once he has a sustainable creep production, what's stopping him from just stockpiling rocks and dropping them on any towers near his creep? They seem to one shot everything so it seems like that would be easier than relying on rng for spore targeting
They'll rebuild any territory they retake so it's a bit of back and forth, sometimes destroying a bunch of towers doesn't help if you can't hold that area.
@@DrakenAshen On this map they don't rebuild, but on a more advanced map it wouldn't work quite as well yeah

I played this map and I feel like I played it wrong, I used rocks to get most nullifiers then used the closest emitter to the rift lab to destroy it, then the rest is obvious

Such a satisfying game i wish it was a mobile game.
Sad Tom didn't know about the super powerful click on eggs to pop them trick that made this map pretty easy for me. Also yeah... the upgrades on the creep generator ones are terrible but the spore launcher and skimmer factory, amazing.

What the heck was that line at the beginning?
WHAT???? When i tried playing a creeper i didn't get any egg boost or rocks. I got a tiny bit of creeper in the corner and as soon as the game started the AI started blasting away. It wasnt a fun experience. seeing as it's been a few years since i played i think it will be a few more years if i decide to go back to try to play as creeper playing against creeper is so much fun! But for a game to be so one sided where it's great and then if you try to play as the creep you get one of the WORST experiences I wasn't able to build or do anything. most builds when players play as the creep it seems to be broken, Maybe people have no idea what they are doing when making these so called impossible maps that are labeled easy. after trying some maps for 2 hours i gave up really disappointed. Creeper world 4 is so much fun when playing against the creep but if you want switch to play as creeper your going to be in for a terrible disappointing time! Or stuck just watching great CGI videos of how the game should of been made. What a huge let down.
Sounds a lot more like you don't know what you're doing or are just bad at finding maps than the whole gamemode is broken. Plenty people have plenty of fun with PAC maps, so the fact that you're one of the only few complaining indicates the issue is more with you than the gamemode.

It's the single thing I have to turn on every single map and it's crazy that after a full year Knucracker still hasn't made it available in the options to be turned on by default every game. Even if you load a save, it goes off again.

The map name is in the top-right corner of the screen... It's literally called "Sleepy Creepy". Stop complaining about shit you clearly don't know about and assuming it's "CGI created" (wtf?! who in their right mind would think anyone would go to the lengths of animating something like a PAC map when it's infinitely easier to just play it?!)
