It's not that it has a different meaning in Japanese, it's that Kubo created a different meaning in Japanese by subtitling the resurrecions with a different alphabet that gave the translations he wanted. 'Hyou' is the Japanese word for Panther, which is nowhere in Pantera. Kubo chose Spanish because he wanted the theme and thought it was cool, not because the Spanish words he wanted to use coincidentally happened to all have nearly identical meanings in Japanese (because they do not)

Technically, Nel's child form is like a glitch, which I assume they get it fixed so she's more than legal if she permanently stays in her adult form.

You just know that Ichigo, Kenpachi, and Grimmjow are going to keep running into each other over the years after the manga and getting into completely random fights. I mean, Nel visits Ichigo and Orihime at their home in the human world, which almost certainly means that Grimmjow is going to be tagging along, Ichigo freely travels to and from Soul Society, and Grimmjow regularly ends up in Soul Society when Harribel and Nel visit it. Having all three of them (true bankai Ichigo vs bankai Kenpachi vs released Grimmjow) in one dimension is probably a recipe for a MASSIVE repair bill.

Remember, sheâs a former Espada, so sheâs definitely not stronger than Ulquiorra even if she does have a higher rank.
That's coz she got sneak attacked and thrown out, she didn't get thrown out because she wasn't strong enough
Nnoitra had to sneak attack her because he was too weak to defeat her and in this fight he's STILL too weak. So I think its safe to say that her number is legit and she's on the same level as Harribel. She could probably handle Ulquiorra at base vs base and Resurrection vs Ressurection. Ulquiorra's third form could definitely beat her though.
in all honesty, being sneak attacked isn't a good excuse, I mean, imagine the current nnoitra and grimmjow try to sneak attack ulquiorra. and even if nel is on the same level as halibel, she still stand little to no chance against ulquiorra in base vs base and 1st form vs 1st form as release halibel is having trouble against masked shikai hiyori and lisa while base ulquiorra stomped mask bankai ichigo and he stated he can easily kill toshiro who stalemated halibel. and later in this fight as you will see, release nel's strongest attack can't even heavily damage base nnoitra and nnoitra isn't using his full power anyway, so no, the number is outdated and not legit especially when the show made it clear that the rest of the espadas got a lot stronger (nnoitra went from 8 to 5) while nel is arguably weaker than before due to being rusty and injured
@@dimensionvisitor7689 I mean, she is somewhat stronger than Grimmjow, and probably a little weaker than Harribal, given the conversations in the manga and the fact that Harribel becomes queen of Hueco Mundo. She is weaker than Ulquiorra, but only because he has released his second form, while she hasn't (it's literally like a shinigami with shikai fighting one with bankai), but this could change dramatically if/when she learns how to activate her second form.

@@shuu8214 It's not really a fight. It's more a rivalry where they aren't trying to seriously kill each other. It ends almost immediately, as Nel gets irritated with Grimmjow for starting trouble and he backs off. If it actually came down to it, Grimmjow must know that true bankai Ichigo, with the White horn, is SO MUCH farther up the food chain them him that a serious fight isn't in his best interests (I don't think there is a character in the universe who can actually survive a single full-power strike from his sword--maybe Aizen, but it wouldn't be a fun experience).

My favourite Bleach Character, she doesn't see race/species, she just wants to have fun with her friends and even when she was an Espada, she was so kind. She is one badarse, if she wasn't sneak attacked and stayed an Espada to this day, she would have been more powerful than Tia Harribel. Maybe Ulquiorra as well (hard to say with him having the 2nd ressurection)

Aizen strengthened the Espadas with the hogyokuu. Nel got hurt before she could receive that power.

Um.... The Hogyokuu was used to make them Espada, before that they were Vasto Lords. The Hogyoku blurred the line between Shinigami and Hollow so any Hollow with a sword was the result of the Hogyokuu. It does kinda seem weird since that act like there is some long history but they've only been an organization for a few months or something.

It's okay to call nelliel a baddie & waifu. Her true self became suppressed after the events with so/so. Meaning she's hiding cause she doesn't want to get involved with the espadas after their betrayal against her. Which also means the transition between nel & nelliel is based on primal survival instinct. Don't let teens/kids/trolls ruin how you perceive fandom towards a character and remember that information is key. Shes older than she appears.
