You can, but only if you use it carefully. Otherwise you'll run afoul of Google policy.
You have a great content, Always waiting for your video notification
Btw google merchant center policies are really strict sometimes very frustrating..đ
Agreed. Millions of businesses get banned every year, many of them having no idea why.
Hopefully I explained well why it is so strict, and how to stay on Google good side.
@@KeyCommerce no doubt, explained really well. will apply these thing, hopeful it will work
Once again appreciate your videos, a big thumbs up
hI SAM I have a question thats without tax can i reactive my merchant on usa??
or tax is mandatory for usa?
Tax isn't mandatory to set up for the USA. You only need to set it up if you're obligated to collect taxes.
Would it be ok to have the LLC company address listed on the contact us page and a rented mailbox address also listed for returns etc.
That should be fine, as long as you're super clear. Google understands a contact address can be different from a returns address.
As someone who runs their store out of their home, I don't feel great about writing down my home address in the Contact Us page. Is this something I can skip and still get approved or should I just put it down?
While itâs technically not mandated in their policy if you offer a phone number and an email address, we think it increases your risk meter to too high a degree to make investing marketing dollars in this website worthwhile.
A common problem we see is the hesitation to give out an address if itâs a home business. Some worry it devalues their legitimacy with Google, but Google is completely fine with home businesses; particularly in a post-pandemic world.
Others worry that returns will be sent to their home. This can happen, but you can add text right beside your displayed address instructing that returns are not to be sent to it, and include a link to your Returns policy page for more information.
Other business owners like yourself simply fear exposing their physical location onto the Internet. In this case consider renting cheap office space somewhere. There might be some relatively low-cost solutions in your area, so have a look. Alternatively, you can ask a friend or neighbor if they would be willing to be your base of operations. You donât actually have to go there, but they would act similarly to a registered agentâs office.
Hope that helps!
Hey Sam Great video!
What if someone is not from US and want to sell the products in US? How can we fix the address issue?
Hi Muhammad,
You're not required to have a US address to sell products to the US. Google only wants to make sure you can fulfill orders.
@@KeyCommerce SO I can put my own home or office address from Pakistan?
@@muhammadmohsin4962 That's correct.
I am a digital nomad, and run my business from my RV as I travel the USA, Canada and Mexico. I have not had a stick and bricks address since 2016. I have shipping and returns at a physical address mailbox service, same with all my business information and mail. Does this mean Google Shopping can never be used by digital nomads?
The business address provided for the returns policy needs to be able to receive products.
Depending on the type of products the website sells, P.O. Boxes can be accepted, but we generally advise not to use them.
Showing unclear or false information, such as P.O Boxes sometimes could be worse than no information, people at an address should represent the business. Adding a business address to the website is no longer required as long as other ways of contact are present on the website, such as an email address or a phone number.
Where are the templates? it just says coming soon. When will this be?
