I saw it last night it's actually pretty different vibe to Tár. Yes it's about an intense lesbian classical music conductor prodigy but that's where it ends. This character is not manipulative or cruel, it's trying to tell quite a different story about how to feel and be seen as an artist and the difficulties of meeting expectations.
