  • Kye Petersen and crew explore one of British Columbia’s most sought after mountain ranges while the ravens watch from the heavens. The gnarly but beautiful Tantalus Range is so close to Whistler's Sea-to-Sky Highway yet so, so far away. Thankfully we get a bird's-eye view in this short film by Dendrite Studios.

Superb focus on the connection of backcountry skiing with nature. The music enhanced the film, not overwhelmed it. Fabulous photography and editing. Thank you!

truly brought the essence of real mountain skiing ,brought chills down my spine to see the new pioneers keeping this kind of skiing alive. being part of and in the natural world without the glamour . for those who have the love to pursue it are blessed. to Kye, my brother and i were friends with lyndsay and little brother trevor. we trained and ski raced together locally on the north shore mountains and Trevor would come along and ski some slalom gates with us and skied them well but it was free skiing he loved so much and he would be flying off anything he could to get some air and loved to ski fast. !! last time i saw Trevor (rip.) skiing with Eric Pehota ,was while skiing down Franz run stopped to say hello .
